The Little Fuzzies love surprising their humans, and this year’s big holiday surprise is going to delight their piano-playing humans for sure! As usual, their curiosity and ingenuity lead to big surprises, and this time the piano keys have been wired to be a part of that surprise!

This is our first early intermediate Little Fuzzies solo, inspired by the many requests of students and teachers whose students have grown up with the Fuzzies and want more music, but at a higher level! This holiday piece will not disappoint and even contains references to Jingle Bells, but unfolds in a creative musical way.

What Level is Light Heist?

Light Heist is early intermediate and is in the key of C Major. The piece is in common time throughout. The right hand contains a legato melody accompaniment by a staccato and consistent left hand pattern. Eighth notes are the smallest note value. There are some first inversion chords in the right hand and the largest interval of a seventh occurs in the left hand. All dynamics, articulations, and markings are notated in solid pedagogical ways.

Bonus mp3 and QR Code for students

Light Heist includes a bonus mp3 of this performance with your purchase. You may send this mp3 to your student to help them learn the piece and remember how it sounds.

Plus, a QR code is included on the first page of the PDF (not pictured in the sample) so students can scan the code and it will take them directly to the performance recording of the piece. This can help them be inspired and learn the piece even more effectively without you having to send the mp3 to them!
