What Level is Apple Quest?
Apple Quest is elementary level and is composed mostly in a Middle C hand position. The smallest note value is the quarter note. A few finger movements are highlighted with circled finger numbers, so these should be manageable by most motivated students. Staccato, slurs, and accents are included, but there is not pedaling. The largest interval within the hand is a fourth.
Apple Quest is carefully edited with pedagogical fingering and articulations, making this an excellent teaching piece. Replace any boring method book piece with a Little Fuzzies solo like this one and see what happens!
