  1. These are great, Wendy! I love that there are so many different styles of music. I also love that you threw in the bloopers at the end of the video. Those goofs and misses are what provide the laughs when you’re doing Rhythm Cups. It wouldn’t be nearly as much fun if you got it perfect right from the start;)

  2. I’m so excited! I had budgeted to get the Rhythm Cups Exploration this month in preparation for the Music Exploration Mini-Camps I’m offering this summer. And now that the whole bundle is on sale, it gives me an even better reason to splurge and get the whole thing! I have one teen boy student who needs more of a foundation in recognizing what rhythms look like and translating them to what they sound like, but Rhythm Menagerie is not up his alley (he’s too old, of course *wink*). So I’ve been using some of your sample pages from a Rhythm Cups 1 to experiment using this with him. At first he was hesitant, but last week he said “this is fun!” I’m confident that even though it’s less comprehensive than Menagerie, I’ll be able to give him the foundation he needs to be successful at not just reading rhythms, but really internalizing it! All while having fun 🙂

    Hi Melinda,

Yay! I’m so glad this is timely for you. Thanks so much for letting me know how you are using this with some of your students. I’m glad your older student thinks it’s fun and I’m sure you’ll make sure he understands what his body is internalizing with Rhythm Cup Explorations! Thanks so much for using Rhythm Cups!!!

  4. Hi Wendy, I bought Rhythm Cup Explorations Book 2 yesterday and can’t wait to use it for my recital. I did not realize the beats were ready to buy until just now on email. I’ll get that soon I hope. Anyway I have tried to download the RCE book2 and my internet connection came down soon after PayPal sent my receipt. Question. May I contact you on how to get this without Internet, or is that a crazy question? I tried to right click on the url and “as target ( can’t remember your other word)” and that did not come up. I copied the url and saved it to my ” word program. So, now everyone knows…I an definitely not computer savvy
I am now working from iPad as I am very concerned about using my computer. So sorry to be a bother

    Hi Linda,

Thanks so much for purchasing Rhythm Cup Explorations 2. The beats will be on sale through Friday.

Unfortunately, you must have an internet connection to download the resources as they are delivered through email.
When on your computer all you really need to do it click on the link. Then, ignore what does or doesn’t happen in your browser and then go to your Downloads folder of your computer. You’ll find that your resource downloaded automatically! There are additional helps and tips on the help page: https://composecreate.com/store/faqs-and-troubleshooting/

I hope that helps! Yes, you can always use your iPad too! Tips on how to get the beats with your iPad are also on that help page.

Let me know if you have other questions!

You might have already had this idea. How about a Rhythm Cup band kind of like a hand bell choir. I am going to do that this fall as I just purchased my first rhythm cup series. Each band member would play different rhythms and also play together. Just thinking it would be fun for older and the younger students could play simplified rhythms. I am getting my students excited for Fall with the rhythm cups. Thx for the discount!!!!

  7. Hi Wendy. It’s the almost 60 year old teacher again in Spokane. Not computer savvy. I’m trying to work out SaveALL app to Ipad for mp3 files. I want the package deal on the entire series of Rhythm Cups and your great discount, but very concerned about the kind of files. I may need to enlist a younger more computer savvy person to get set up first.

Can I have until midnight Pacific time today May 6, 2016?

Thank you for all you do for so many…..

    Hi Joyce,

Thanks so much for your interest! It’s a great idea to ask a young computer savvy person to help. I do include detailed instructions on how to get things on your iPad. Some of the instructions you can even see here on the FAQ page: https://composecreate.com/store/faqs-and-troubleshooting/

I operate off of CDT time, but you’ll be fine with midnight at Pacific because I don’t have the shut off automated yet, so I’ll turn the sale off early Saturday morning.

I hope that helps! Thanks so much for your interest!

    Wendy

  9. Could you help me? Sorry I’m confused. I don’t want a hardcopy of the book. I want the mp3 tracks and pdf files of the books. Which option do I choose?
    Thanks!

  10. Wendy Stevens

    Hi Melissa,

Sorry for the confusion! There is no hardcopy of the book available, so any of the options above are all PDF files and mp3s.

If you use terms like quarter, eighth, and half note, then you want the North American Edition. But if you use terms like crotchet, minum, quaver, etc., then you want the international Edition.

So, if you want BOTH books and BOTH sets of mp3s and use terms like quarter, half, and whole, then choose the first Add to Cart button under the Bundle and Save $5 heading.

    Does that help?

Let me know if you have any other questions.
