You might remember this interview with Karen Harrington about year ago. Karen is the author the Piano Teachers Resource Kit an excellent set of fun worksheets that can be reproduced for your studio. I have copied almost every page in the book onto card stock, then laminated it so that I can give them to my students to complete with a dry erase marker while they are waiting for their lesson. I can then wipe it off and use it for the next student.
If you don’t know it, Hal Leonard has many of their miscellaneous teaching items on sale until the end of August. You can get the Piano Teachers Resource Kit among other things like music dictionaries, stickers, bingo, etc. for 40% off. Look at the list of items on this page.

Hi Wendy! I’m having fun going through your recent past posts and getting some great ideas! Thank you so much for your wonderful blog! I’ve recently bought this book and love it! I never though about laminating the pages though – great idea! What kind of laminator do you have? I’m thinking about investing in one instead of running to the teacher’s store here in town every month! 🙂
Hi Becky,
I actually do what you do and go to my teacher resource center where I can laminate for $.30 a foot! I’ll see if I can get any of my FB ComposeCreate friends’ input on this one. Surely one of them has a laminator. I’ll keep you posted!
Becky, Several teachers on the ComposeCreate FB page responded to my question about laminators! You can see if here (you should be able to see it even if you don’t have a FB account): http://www.facebook.com/ComposeCreate
