When I was at NCKP, I stopped by the Music Educators Marketplace booth and visited with the ever friendly Karen Koch. I was talking to her about what was new and she showed me these wonderful Composer Seals that she is now selling. Â They are color coded to coincide with the 4 music time periods:
Gold: Baroque for ornamentation and embellishment
Blue: Classical for the clean, clear sound
Red: Romantic for the passion
Green: Contemporary for the new ideas
I decided to use this this year on my newly refurbished “Certificates of Artistry.” Â I re-designed the certificate to allow room for the sticker and changed the font a bit so that it is different from last year. Â Feel free to download and print these New Certificates of Artistry for free in your studio this year.
You can purchase 4 sheets of the Composer Seals for $11 from the Music Ed Marketplace. My kids were very excited when I showed them at our group lesson! Â When they earn 10 Certificates of Artistry, I will award them with a free piece of sheet music.
