“Have You Forgotten What It’s Like to be a Child?” Online Workshop
It’s been anywhere from 10 to 70 years since any of us have been a child, so it’s pretty certain that all piano and music teachers have forgotten at least some of what it’s like to be a child. Because we’ve forgotten, we get frustrated when our students don’t do what we want. We scratch our heads, then buy all kinds of programs, books, and incentives that don’t really address the underlying issue.
But there’s help! I used to struggle to compose exciting elementary music until I learned these 5 characteristics of children. I found that they apply just as readily to teaching piano (and even parenting) and I’ve become passionate about sharing them with piano teachers! For the first time, it’s now available as an online piano teacher workshop!
Learning and teaching these things has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve been able to do. Because when you learn these characteristics of childhood, you’ll be excited about teaching, inspired to compose, and motivated at a whole new level.
The 3 Substantial Things You’ll Learn:
In this 1 hour and 48 minute online piano teacher workshop (not a moment is wasted – it’s all packed with content), you’ll learn:
The 5 characteristics of childhood that we forget
Scores of practical ways to apply this knowledge to help our students leave every single lesson feeling excited and competent
Secrets to composing effective elementary piano music that Wendy uses as a composer
