One Way to Easily Elevate Your Studio Image

One Way to Easily Elevate Your Studio Image | ComposeCreate.com

Elevating your studio image can be as difficult as overhauling your studio space or website. But it can also be as easy as sending birthday cards to students on their special day. One of the most effective ways to elevate your studio image is through a professional-looking recital template. If you’re already preparing for a recital, why not use the opportunity to look like the professional that you are?

Professional templates leave a good impression on student parents, and on potential students or parents as well. Grandparents, cousins, friends – everyone shows up for recitals. And recitals are a wonderful way to market your studio without people feeling like they’re being marketed to!

The newest recital template

Our newest recital template that helps you look like the professional you are is the Snowflake Recital Template. It’s exquisite, includes everything you need for a recital, and is super easy to use! Everything is editable, and the artwork was created just for the template – so you won’t find it anywhere else! I also love that this template makes good use of white space. This makes printing cost lower if using a home printer, and makes the student names and pieces really stand out.

Here’s what other teachers have said about our templates:

I received lots of positive comments from those who attended the recital. I don’t think I will go back to creating my own design ever again since these are so easy to use. Thanks for providing a professional looking package that helped me to present a professional image at the recital.

A few sweet ladies who arrived, took a program wanted to know where to purchase admission for the recital because the programs looked so professional! I am not kidding. So many positive comments about the programs! Thank you for this beautiful and easy-to-use resource!

The compliments from parents were glowing. I have designed my own in the past, but this was SO much better and saved me tons of time. The compliment cards were icing on the cake. I presented them to each student at our last lesson of the semester. They LOVED it.

Can recital templates really elevate my studio image?

Absolutely! But if in doubt, read the previous comments from teachers again! Placing an emphasis on excellence and professionalism in in your recital program communicates to parents that:

  • The recital is something to be taken seriously
  • You take your studio and teaching seriously
  • You have put time and effort into making this event special (even if the templates actually saved you time!)
  • Your studio is committed to excellence in all things – including the recital programs

Here’s one way to think of it: A couple years back, I got my oil changed at a new shop. They did a great job. They were fast, efficient, and were reasonably priced.

An Example from My Oil Change

But I will never go back there again. The waiting room was dirty, there were newspapers covering all of the windows, and the whole place smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke I felt I could hardly breathe.

Needless to say, the next oil change I needed landed me in a different shop. This new shop also did a great job – but they also had a clean waiting room, plenty of light, and I didn’t feel claustrophobic just sitting in the room. Even though they were slightly more expensive, I was absolutely willing to pay the little bit extra!

Things like recitals (and how they look) are a lot like our waiting rooms. Parents likely don’t see the lessons every week, just as I don’t see the technicians changing my oil. You know you’re a wonderful teacher. You spend hours prepping pieces and studio activities, time and money on professional development, etc. So having a beautiful template and compliment cards to pass out during a recital can be an effective way of showing parents how professional you are.

What to expect from a recital template

All of the ComposeCreate® recital templates (there are now 11!) contain the following:

  • 8.5×11 invitation poster
  • 4-up invitations
  • front and back recital programs (in both vertical and booklet style so that you can fit in as many students as you need)
  • compliment cards (not sure what a compliment card is? You can read about it here.)
  • Plus, color and black and white versions of all of these.
  • Text is completely editable (even the title page)!
  • PDF files, Word files, and Pages files are all included.

Note: This Spring Recital Program and this Summer Recital Program are the only packages where the “Spring Recital” or “Summer Recital” title at the top of the template is not editable. All of our other Recital Program Packages have titles that are also editable. This design incorporates the title into the artwork, so it is a part of the graphic and is not editable.

These templates are designed to include everything you need to look like the professional you are, elevate your studio image, and make life easier when you’re prepping for a recital. It’s easy to add student names, edit the title, and put your studio name and info in the program as well. When I last used one, it only took me half an hour to get everything ready to send to the printer! For invitations, a poster, the program itself, everything. That saved me precious time that I was able to use for other recital-related items.

  1. This was such a memorable and effective word picture for how we present ourselves to the public! (Well done, Amanda, thanks!)

  2. Elevating your studio image can be a challenging task, but it can also be as simple as sending birthday cards to your students! Another effective way to improve your studio’s image is to use a professional-looking recital template. This can help you present a polished and professional image to your students and their families, and can also make your recital a more enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone involved. So, if you’re planning a recital, why not take the opportunity to look like the professional musician that you are, and use a top-notch recital template to impress your students and their families? After all, a little extra effort can go a long way in making a great impression!
