The Recital Template Details

We typically include a color and black and white version of programs in our editable templates. For this template however, our artist created an all black and white design. Why?

First, it automatically create a cost savings since color ink isn’t being used. And with inflation affecting even things like printer ink, that’s a definite benefit!

Second, the entire design in this template is intentionally a silhouette, which highlights the beauty of black and white art.

My favorite aspect is the intricate attention to detail on the curvature of the wires (which are staves of an orchestral score!). There’s even appropriate bracing on the end, so it’s obvious that it’s a musical staff. But, it still gives the illusion of the telephone wires with the animals running across.

Notice the brace that makes it obvious that this is a score, while the weight of the birds makes it look just like telephone wires!
