January Song is a playful solo full of energy and personality – just as you’d expect from a penguin. The B section features a beautiful contrasting theme full of warmth and lovely harmony.

What level is January Song?

January Song is early intermediate level. The piece is composed in D Major, but all the accidentals are written in the music instead of using a key signature. The smallest note value is the sixteenth note but all sixteenth notes are grouped in fours. There is harmonic pedaling in only four measures of the piece.

January Song is carefully edited to help teachers teach and students learn effectively and efficiently.
