Guess what I found this week?! It’s the perfect one minute timer for our Minute to Win It games that were such a hit in our spring group lesson. The timer beeps every 5 seconds (and it’s loud enough for the kids to hear it over their own noise) and then every second for the last 10 seconds. I was so thrilled to find this right before my Songwriting Workshop and we’ve already used it several times this week. (See this post by Sheryl and this post by Heidi for info on how to use it in lessons.) But, if you want to find one, you need to run to go get it. It just so happens to be the “prize” in the Wendy’s Kids’ Meals this week (or at least it was on Sunday). So, rush out and buy that hamburger and fries kids meal even without your kids…you’ll be glad you did!

Thanks for the tip! My mouth’s watering thinking about a frosty and I know I can easily find one of my kids who would be delighted with a kids meal. The timer will work so much better than me checking my stopwatch every few seconds.
Nuts, my boys are just too big for the kids meals… 🙂
The timer on my ipod works pretty well but not nearly as cute as this one!
It’s really worth going just to throw the food away and keep the toy! The fact that it beeps every 10 seconds and then gives them 10 beeps before the end is soooo much more exciting than randomly waiting for the ipod to go off right at 1 minute!
