February Song is late elementary level. The piece is composed in D minor, but all the accidentals are written in the music instead of using a key signature. The smallest note value is the eighth note. There are no dotted quarter notes. February Song features a gentle glissando at the end. The entire piece encourages lyrical playing and development.

As an intermediate adult piano student I appreciate a piece like this that sounds beautiful but isn’t super complicated for me. It’s especially nice that it is a short two pager so I can move on quickly to the next one. I have most of the months of the year pieces and enjoy playing them all.
