I pulled out and played “Carol of the Bells” for a student who is struggling to be excited about piano. When I played it for him, his eyes lit up!

I just wanted to let you know that a 9 year old boy (student) begged me to learn your intermediate Carol of the Bells at Christmas time, and I knew it would be too hard for him. But he persevered, and just performed it flawlessly at our recital last weekend. It was a great teaching piece, and it was the first time I was really able to get dynamics across to him. His opening was so beautiful, I heard gasps in the audience. I also received comment cards from the audience that said it was the most beautiful arrangement they’d ever heard. Just thought you should know! 🙂 Thank you!

One of my high school students is so excited that she was the first to request to play Carol of the Bells for our Christmas recital this year. I try to let the student who asks first play this most desired piece. We watched the video on your site and she LOVED your arrangement. And I loved her excitement and enthusiastic response when I asked her if she was sure enough for me to purchase and download it right then. What a great tool…. capitalizing on that moment! Thank you!

This is one of the best arrangements of ‘Carol of the Bells’. A hit for students, and I enjoy playing it anytime during the year. Thank you!

This is a wonderful arrangement for the most-requested holiday piece by my students. Wendy’s arrangement updates “Carol of the Bells’ to a sophisticated level and will keep my intermediate level students excited about working up and playing this piece. Its alluring tones and movement throughout will captivate the performer and audience. Her notations – as usual – are easy to follow and allow for full expression. I enjoyed playing this piece myself and am excited to introduce it to my students next week. Her brilliant compositions, as well as her studio license option, continue to be factors in my coming back to her site for piano selections.

I have always loved this piece and bought it for myself. As advertised, it is not difficult I was able to learn it well, memorize it and I have played it for two of the three churches I serve. Took my students to an assisted living facility for a program and I also played it there. A lot of use for a little bit of investment.. The arrangement Has some interesting sounds, is energetic and exciting to play.

Carol of the Bells has long been a favorite of mine so I purchased this for myself, learned and memorized it in a week, played it for the two churches I serve. I took my very young piano students to an assisted living facility for a Christmas performance and played it there. It have interesting harmonies and is very enjoyable to play. I love it!

Your holiday music (particularly “Carol of the Bells” and “What Child is This”?) is featured in my November-December teaching for advanced intermediates and it’s very well-received.
