These three arrangements are from the unique series, All is Calm, All is Bright. This bundle contains:

  • God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Set in a mysterious 7/8 meter for short periods of time, this God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen arrangement will certainly capture the ear and interest of the audience at a piano recital, church, or holiday party. This happens to be one my husband’s favorite in this All is Calm, All is Bright collection. Late intermediate to early advanced, this piece falls easily within the hands. Great for those with sophisticated OR simple musical tastes.
  • Deck the Hall Hoedown
Yee-haw! This lively arrangement called Deck the Hall Hoedown will bring all kinds of energy to your recital or your holiday party. Deck the Hall Hoedown is a late intermediate, early advanced arrangements for lively pianists, piano students, and piano teachers. Super fun, but watch out, your audience might start clapping they’ll be having so much fun!
This piece is part of the All is Calm, All is Bright collection in which several pieces will be released each year between 2015-2018.
  • It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
Exquisite, fresh, and in a newer contemporary setting, this age old favorite will bring new meaning to you and your audience. “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” is set in a simple meter, rather than the lilting compound meter, the subtle syncopations, unique harmony shifts, and carefully crafted setting may make this piece one of your favorites!

  1. Christy

“Deck the Hall Hoedown” is an audience hit! I played it for my studio winter recital in 2016. It was such fun! My students didn’t know I was going to play and were cheering and clapping; one of the dad’s started a foot stomp-clap routine. It was beyond anything I had expected. “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” has never been a favorite carol of mine but as a church musician, it gets sung nearly every Christmas Eve. I am so pleased with this arrangement. It has changed my view of the carol because it is so beautiful and great to play. “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” is a classic and this arrangement will be a classic in your repertoire, too. You cannot go wrong with adding any of these pieces to your Christmas collection.
