Preparing for Fall: Organizing

I’ve been on vacation in the least few weeks consisting of long trips as well as short day trips.  It’s been a wonderful time to get away and recharge!

One of the things I picked up while we were gone were these fantastic little boxes at IKEA (always a favorite place).  They are perfect for my ever growing amount of game supplies.  I love how these fit in the bottom 3 draws of my other IKEA find from 3 years ago.

In addition to these fabulous boxes, I picked up these “really useful boxes” from Staples for only $.25 this last Sunday.  When the school year begins, they always run fabulous sales on 4-5 different items during each week in August.  I love these because they are perfect for the little plugs and round decorative rocks I have for some new games this year.

Of course, this means that this week is devoted to rearranging and organizing materials, but I’ve needed to do that for some time.  What kinds of things do you use for storing and organizing your studio?

  1. I use storage tubs as well in my timber computer desk – but I am looking for a somewhat matching four drawer timber filing cabinet or two so I can retire the two very daggy looking things I currently have that need to be a little bigger ;D

And just because I thought you’d find this amusing – guess what my husband came home with today??

A MASSAGE chair for me! It’s fantastic!! I think it’s going to be my post-teaching routine , to go and sit in the chair for 10 mins and get a fantastic back massage. LOL!

  2. Wow Dianna,

You are one blessed woman! Congrats on the chair. That sounds perfect after a long day of teaching.
