New Irish Hymn Arrangement!

Brethren, We Have Met to Worship

One of the oldest published and loveliest American hymn tunes is now arranged in an Irish jig style! Fast moving, 6/8 meter is joyful and festive and then slows to a melancholy, contemporary setting of the tune. The jig style comes back in the end, leaving your audience with exuberance and joyfulness in worship!

Also known as Holy Manna, Christ is Risen, All Who Hunger, Gather Gladly, Singing Songs of Expectation, God Who Stretched the Spangled Heavens, God the Father of Your People, God We Thank You for Our People, and Christians, We Have Met to Worship. This is the 2nd in a series of Celtic Hymn Transformations. Visit the “Be Thou My Vision” page for the first arrangement.

  1. Wendy – keep the sacred music arrangements coming! As a church musician for my whole life, I can tell you that I relish getting fresh, new arrangements! Love the Irish settings and will play them in church as soon as I get them!! Norma
