We’re so excited about the new music that has come out today! After the “break” that is summer, August is such a great time to introduce music that connects with students AND helps them sharpen the reading and technique skills that may have “slid” a bit.
New music releases and updated products for 2026
Our 2026 August new releases include some exciting additions to some of our most popular series:

August 2026 New Music Release Bundle
Three New Little Fuzzies Solos!
After a big summer where many teachers used the Little Fuzzy Challenge, your students will be excited to learn what the Fuzzies are up to now! We’ve packaged all three of these solos in a discounted Laundry, Scuba, and Roller Coaster Rocket bundle.
- Laundry Mishap: What happens when you forget to take the Little Fuzzies out of your pocket and mom washes your clothes? Find out in this funny adventure! (This actually happened to one student and their Little Fuzzies!)
- Scuba Divin’ Lite: The Little Fuzzies decide to get over their obsession with their hair and go scuba diving! They’re so new to the sport that they don’t get the equipment quite right, but this adventure is tons of fun for them and students telling the musical story.
- Roller Coaster Rocket: What do the Little Fuzzies do first at an amusement park? The roller coaster of course! This piece includes an exciting glissando!
Three New Color Rote and Reading® Solos
This series is one of our most popular, in part due to the fact that not only do children like it, but adults and teenagers like it as well! So when a teacher told Wendy that one of her teens students had organized his Color Music according to ROYGBIV, Wendy asked him what colors he thought was missing. His suggestions and a suggestion from the teacher were the inspiration she needed to write these solos in this Color Music 4 Bundle:
- Purely Pink: This was definitely a missing color in this series! This solo is tender, but bright perfectly depicting this sensitive color.
- Velvet Green: When this student suggested a deeper shade of green, Wendy thought of her grandmother and her love of velvet. This solo is rich and lush, just like you’d expect from velvet.
- Jet Black: Is black a color? It doesn’t matter, because this inspired solo uses only the black keys and contains super exciting black key glissandos!
New Beautiful Wonders Solos
The Beautiful Places series has been so popular that we have expanded it into the early and now the mid intermediate level! Here are two new solos that are now a part of this series for your intermediate students:
- The Whispering Relic: This is a delicately beautiful and fluid solo that mirrors the sound of the waves heard within a seashell.
- The Ancient Pine: Trees hold an ancient wisdom and have a grounding effect on us. They have always been an inspiration to Wendy. This piece is quietly majestic, expressive, and reassuring.
New Chinese Adventure Rote and Reading®
This will be our sixth area of the world to explore in the Adventure Rote and Reading Series®, a very popular series with teachers and students.
- Red Panda Pranks: This is a fun and energetic elementary solo based on mischievous red pandas!
- Panda Paradise: How do you capture the bigness of the giant panda and its slow and gentle demeanor? This sensitive piece does it perfectly.
- Leopard at Large: This large leopard prowls and pounces in this exciting solo!
- Asian Elephant: The majestic, powerful Asian elephants show their heft in this dramatic solo.
New Side Quests™ Videos Game Piano Music
Jason Sifford has added a collection to this new series of video game music! This set of 5 late elementary pieces are all based on one letter of the musical alphabet!
- Speed-E – A fast, driving and fun short solo!
- A-Heart – A sentimental and lyrical solo.
- D-stroy! – This solo helps students play forte, but with expression.
- Can’t-C – A clever solo that students will love because the left hand holds down treble C while right hand plays around it – making it so right hand “Can’t C!”
- G-force – Contains an exciting ending and concludes the Power-Ups! set with a fortississimo finale!
New stickers, Achievement Cards, and the updated 2026 SSC
We all need fresh and fun things like stickers! And our Music Achievement Cards are quickly becoming a must-have of teachers. We’ve received many emails in the last few months about teachers who have been hesitant to buy them, but then are in love with how they are motivating their students now that they have them! Plus, we have lots of new, helpful pages in the new Student Solutions Catalog!
