Sigh. As one who loves perfection (I’m sure none of you are that way), it pains me to see the spelling error in the first paragraph of the ComposeCreate® newsletter that just went out! Evidently the author of the newsletter thinks that you can “motiate” your students to practice. I hope that is easier than motivating them!
Oh well. It is not important in the grand scheme of things and perhaps it will just motivate us all to run the spell check more than once to make sure we don’t skip any of those great suggestions.
I’m sorry for the error, but I hope you find something in the newsletter that is helpful to you! 🙂

Hi Wendy: I know I am not technologically gifted, but I am wondering if there is more to this particular newsletter than these first short paragraphs. The last sentence I see reads, “I’m sorry for the error, but I hope you find something in the newsletter that is helpful to you. I would love to find some new and creative ways to motivate my students, and I think that somehow I am not seeing the entire newsletter. I hope I am making sense. And if you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi Claudette,
I think I know exactly what is going on! It sounds like you are getting the “email updates” every time there is a blog post, but you are not signed up for the newsletter which comes to your email every 2-3 weeks. The newsletter is a summary of all the blog posts and sometimes contains other little tips that might not have come to you via the “email updates.”
All you have to do to sign up for the newsletter is enter your email address in the “Sign up for the Newsletter” box on the right hand side of the home page. If you would rather me add your address to the back end, I can do that as well. Just let me know!
Wendy
