“I know the tracks will help my students! But some of my students’ families can’t afford the downloadable rhythm tracks. Is there a way you can make them affordably accessible so that they can use them at home?”
Why Are the Tracks So Important?
We also have known there are some teachers that really want the tracks because they know how helpful they are in making sure the students get the rhythm right, get it inside their body, and move to the music. But the downloadable tracks are certainly a higher price point, so some of you haven’t been able to get them.
If you’ve seen any of the presentations, especially about Rhythm Menagerie® and Rhythm Manipulations® tracks, you know why these tracks are so important for students! This is because there are 3 tracks for every line of music. These tracks are at different tempos (we all know students always try everything too fast at first), but the first two tracks have the notated rhythm clapped on the track! So students can actually hear if they are correct or not!
We all have had students who demonstrate a rhythm perfectly at the lesson and come back playing it wrong! So these tracks help students check themselves at home to make SURE they have the right rhythm in their practice.
That is – IF they have the tracks.
For years now, we’ve been brainstorming about how to make the tracks affordable and easy to use for students and teachers. We now have a solution!

More Details and Questions:
- Who can get access to these? Any teacher and any student can get a subscription to these tracks.
- Can I just get access to one book’s tracks? Yes, you can get access to any individual book’s tracks, or if you are a teacher, you can get a special price on the tracks bundle for all the books (1,857 tracks).
- What if I’ve already purchased the downloadable tracks? You’ll always have those in your possession and can re-download them at any time if you need it. We’re not taking those away from you. This is just a better at-your-fingertips experience that you can purchase if you’d like. But you can also just keep using your downloaded tracks!
- How do I get access to the tracks once I’ve purchased them? Here’s a quick 1 minute video so you can see how to access them. Once you are in one of your tracks pages, there is a new menu that appears at the top of each page so you can easily toggle between books!
- What do I say/send to parents? “I’d like you to buy these streaming tracks so Johnny can practice with them at home. They can greatly improve his rhythm!” Include the URL of which streaming tracks you’d like them to purchase (make sure it’s JUST the streaming tracks because they don’t need to purchase the PDF book since you can give it to the if you have purchased it, as it’s studio licensed). An example of one of the URLs that you would send would be ComposeCreate.com/product/rhythm-menagerie-streaming-tracks. You can see all of the streaming tracks here and then click on any of them and you’ll be able to copy the URL.
- I’ve tried to get parents to buy apps and such things before and they won’t do it. How can I get them to get this? It’s really important for parents to understand how fundamental rhythm is! When they understand this, they will see this as essential to their child’s success is piano or music lessons and most will get them. The key difference that you have to draw out for these parents is how essential rhythm development is, how helpful these tracks are in getting the rhythm/beat in students bodies, and how developing rhythm now will be a life-long skill that they can use for any instrument they ever play. It’s truly fundamental. And when parents understand that, they are more than willing to do what you ask!
