I received this email the other day from Leigh Stringfield, a private piano teacher:
“I was wondering if you have any Valentine themed ideas that would work in a group lesson. All your other ideas have made my other group lessons a big hit! I can’t let them down now!”
At the time, I didn’t so I referred her to Susan Paradis‘ site. But as I said, I get distracted and excited about new things easily, so after a few days of mulling it over in my mind, I came up with something that could work for:
- Group lessons flashcards
- Private lessons flashcards
- Room decor (they’ll walk around trying to figure them all out for fun!)
- Valentines to give away to your students

Thanks, Wendy. These are darling! I love the idea of hanging them around the room for the students to walk around and figure out what they say. If they do that first thing, they’ll be in music mode before they even get to the piano!

Wendy – Can you help? I’m caught in a loop – I enter my email and it sends me another link to enter my email again, so I go ahead and do that, then I’m sent the same link that only wants me to input my email. I see on FB people have printed them out, so I’m sure it’s just me doing something incorrectly – My husband says, “You’re always 2 clicks away from a solution!” Figuring out what 2 clicks is always the culprit!
