If you are not between the ages of 10 and 18, you might, like me, think that “creepy” would be an offensive way of describing a piece you had composed. But read this little story that a fellow teacher gave me permission to share and you’ll see why I’m smiling:
I recently purchased your Carol of the Bells for Intermediate and Elementary After playing the Intermediate version for my son, he said, “That’s so creepy, [which in his age group means it’s really cool], it sounds like Batman’s version, that’s way too hard for me.”
Well, I told him you may be surprised, let’s try it for a few days and see.
