Early Intermediate Version: Sizzlin’ Sunny Sleigh Ride is an early intermediate piece written in C Major. There is pedaling only at the end. The smallest note value is an eighth note. There are grace notes in this piece. The piece is in common time, in a boogie-woogie style. Dynamics are notated. The piece is carefully edited with pedagogical fingering and articulations. The largest interval is an octave, and the piece also features a glissando, a few seventh chords with 4 notes, and chord inversions.
Intermediate Version: Sizzlin’ Sunny Sleigh Ride is an intermediate piece written in C Major. There is only pedaling at the ending. The smallest note value is an eighth note, and the piece is in common time. The eighths are played straight, not swung. Dynamics are notated. The piece is carefully edited with pedagogical fingering and articulations.The piece features a glissando, a walking bass line, and plenty of syncopation!

A jolly good time!!! I love the energy, and it is consistently leveled through for the early intermediate student — no super tricky passages (my students always seem to trip up on too many syncopated rhythms, and this one stays very consistent with its syncopation.
