September Sunflower is a mature-sounding and pop-driven duet that gives a feeling of relaxed perpetual motion, with all the beauty of bright yellow sunflowers! This piece is alluring to students of all ages, but especially teens, and will give students an opportunity to play music together.
What Level is the September Sunflower?
September Sunflower is an early intermediate piano duet in F Major that is written in triple meter. It features syncopation, dotted rhythms, sequences, and broken chords.
The smallest note value is an eighth note. The piece contains triplets and broken chords, lovely cascading scale-like patterns, and a fun, repetitive motive that appears in both parts.
Harmonic pedaling is indicated. Fingering, articulations, and slurring is included throughout.
