This collections is a treasure trove!! It covers a huge range, from the earliest rote through late intermediate, and a wide variety of styles from humorous to jazzy to moving. If you are new to Wendy Steven’s work (welcome – you’re about to be delighted and enthralled over and over again!) this collection is a great way to start with a wide variety of pieces for various students. I’ve only been using these for the last month, but already have student favorites among them!

I recently purchased the Little Fuzzy Adventure pack, as well as the original. I made some fuzzies, too. This week I told my younger students that I was starting a Little Fuzzies “Club”–really just having them learn all the pieces this semester. Well, here is the story about one little girl who was a chronic non-practicer. I gave her the first piece and her mom texted me within 24 hours telling me that she “hasn’t stopped practing the piece and she loves it.” I’m so excited! They have been a big hit!

The Fuzzies songs have become favorites of a few of my 9-yr old students! They like the half step clusters, and when one student’s older brothers told her to “stop playing it wrong,” she was delighted to show him that she was actually playing it right!
