December is a beautifully winter sounding piece with just hints of the holidays. The B section contains glimpses of Silent Night. December Song’s festive sound will be warm and inviting all winter long.
What level is December Song?
December Song is early intermediate level. The piece is in G Major, but all the accidentals are written in the music instead of using a key signature. The smallest note value is the eighth note. There are hints of Silent Night in the piece. The accents fall in unexpected places producing a small challenge that is appropriate for early intermediate piano students. There is harmonic pedaling.
December Song is carefully edited to help teachers teach and students learn effectively and efficiently.
