- One on the staff version with eighth notes
This piece will thrills your youngest of students with an exciting glissando as Santa Claus comes down the chimney!
O Come O Come Emmanuel – EE / E
This is an easy arrangement (easier than God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen) that effectively uses pedal throughout the piece, though it is not a pentatonic tune. Haunting and mysterious, this arrangement is great for sensitive students or older students who are just beginners
Go Tell It on the Mountain – E
This elementary solo has a fun jazzy sound. The smallest note value is the quarter note, but with ties, there is a lovely syncopation that gives it a jazz feel. A teacher duet part is included.
Deck the Hall – E
This is one of the most popular elementary pieces we have (along with Jingle Bells). You will not have to worry about the dotted rhythm in this piece because of the novel arrangement using quarter notes and left hand filler notes. This piece has 2 exciting glissandos and sounds super busy and difficult, but is quite easy to play!
Jingle Bells – E / LE
This is another wow piece that “students line up to play” according to teachers. This piece sounds big and full in the main melody and the intro, interlude, and ending can easily be taught by rote. This is truly an impressive sounding Jingle Bells that even teachers say they do not tire of hearing!
Angels We Have Heard on High – E
This sophisticated arrangement sounds very mature and is perfect for older beginners or adults. Fresh harmony and very easy pedaling make this a win for mid-elementary students who want to sound as if they have been playing the piano for years.
Carol of the Bells – E
The score of Carol of the Bells is usually quite scary for an elementary piano student. But this score has no eighth notes or unnecessary rests or slurs to scare your student! Plus it is easy to play and sound quite big!
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen – LE
This mysterious elementary arrangement falls easily in students hands and is good for students who are just beginning to be comfortable playing just outside the traditional hand positions. Carefully fingers to ensure easy of playing, this arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen will make the elementary student sound mature beyond their years if they are a child, or appropriately mature if they are an adult. Sensitive piano students and adults particularly enjoy this piece.
We Three Kings – Camels and Cups – LE
This mysterious sounding and fun arrangement includes an opportunity for audiences to cup tap a simple rhythm pattern with the performer. When audiences make music with the student, everyone has fun! You also will receive mp3 tracks of cup tapping so students can practice this piece with cup tapping well before their performance.
