It’s so easy to think that everyone does things like me. When I go on my merry, self-absorbed way, I just assume that everyone must call their Coke or Pepsi a “pop,” right? Everyone must call that comfy fluffy piece of furniture in their living room a “couch,” right? Everyone must enjoy cold weather at Christmas, right? Surely everyone enjoys an ice cold Dr. Pepper Ten at 2:00 every afternoon like me, right?

Obviously I’m not right. And those of you enjoying your soda on your sofa in the southern hemisphere might be chuckling by now. So, I know it’s good to do a survey every once in a while so that I as a composer and blogger know what you, my reader and friend need.
