  1. Hi Wendy,
I just finished watching the first day of a 2-day online workshop for online teaching ideas. Interesting & free, but centering on technology that many teachers in my older age group will never invest in. I was hoping for more ideas about teaching techniques rather than just what program to use – how to engage and keep attention, how to improve sound issues, etc.
Will you ever be offering such a workshop, especially for more traditional teachers? Your written articles so far about how to teach in the pandemic have been great!

  2. Wendy. I purchased the penqin match game and have used them many times just matching. Somehow I think there was a way to use the pengalo game with the match game? I did purchase the game but do not remember how to incorporate it with the match game?

    Thanks
    Pamela

  3. Hi Gwyn,

Thanks for asking! The next workshop/webinar will be in August. If you are signed up for the newsletter and open it fairly regularly, you should see news about that as it approached.

    Thanks!

  4. Hello, I’m interested in the cup activities but I teach fully in French. I wanted to know if these activities will work
I’m other languages? Also, do you suggest any of your other products for French speaking Music classes?

  5. That’s a great question! Because the book is laid out to be mostly music and symbols about what to do with the cup, then yes, the work well in any language. We have teachers all over the world using them! You’d just need to have the teacher know how to understand the english directions and then that teacher can easily show the students what to do. Even English speaking teachers do it this way…they read the directions and just show the students how to cup tap. Rarely do the students even read the directions! They are just reading the music symbols.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

  6. Hello Wendy, I introduced the 30 piece challenge to a student. I printed out the template for her to X off the pieces that get completed. I explained the challenge, but somehow she missed the fact that the pieces are ones that I decide are complete. I am reading through the blogs, but have not found a simple page that would explain to a student what the challenge IS and what is expected of them. It should probably also have the rewards to be earned clearly stated so there is no misunderstandings. I can try to piece one together from all the information, but did you have one that is already done? I am not trying to create my own plan, but to use 30 day challenge as it is being presented. Thanks!
