Jinx is a mischievous little piece by Diane Hidy. The piece is energetic and full of mystery. It’s a great piece for the Halloween season, especially for older students who need mature music that’s fairly easy to play. Jinx is studio licensed, so you can use it over and over again for any student you directly teach.
What Level is Jinx?
Jinx is late elementary. The smallest note value is the eighth note. There are numerous sharps, flats, and naturals, but these are all notated in the music and not included in key signature, making it much easier for this level of piano student. Careful editing and lots of dynamics, articulations, and markings make this an excellent teaching piece. There is no pedaling in the piece.
Bonus mp3 Recording!
With your purchase of this studio license, you will receive a bonus mp3 recording of Jinx performed by Diane Hidy. You are permitted to send this example performance track to your students to help them learn the piece.
What is the Studio License?
Jinx is delivered digitally (through your email receipt) and is studio licensed. This means that you can print and use this for any student that you directly teach for your entire lifetime of teaching.

Another winner by Diane Hidy! I gave this to my older grandson whose interest in his lessons was lagging way behind his love for soccer. This perked him up right away and he began practicing it right away. I was absolutely thrilled with his interest and the result.
