Jet Black is a nonstop drama from start to finish! This early intermediate piece has bold sounds that are easy to play, with a big effect! What level is Jet Black?

Jet Black an early intermediate black-key piece with no key signature, but is centered in E flat minor and contains only black keys. The smallest note value is an eighth note. The piece can be taught by rote, reading, or a combination of both. Jet Black features harmonic intervals and many glissandos, plus helpful note names written in several ledger lines. The student is indicated to hold the damper pedal down for the entire piece. The piece is carefully edited with pedagogical fingering and articulations, making this an excellent teaching or recital piece!
