Level of Flight

Flight is a late intermediate piano solo written in D minor. The smallest note value is the sixteenth note (in groups of 4). Movement is impressive and fast, but based on easy-to-see and play patterns. The piece is in common time with just one minor meter change at the ending. The tempo marking changes for each section of the piece. Pedaling is clearly indicated throughout the entire piece. 

Dynamics, articulations, and suggestions for tempo changes will help any intermediate student to play this piece with nuance. Helpful fingering is indicated in the piece. This makes a great recital piece for students and teachers alike!
