This peaceful arrangement of the Doxology is simple, yet mature, making it perfect for an offertory or transitional period of a service. The simple and repeated motive throughout gives the piece something new that will capture the attention of listeners, and make elementary level students sound and feel like more mature pianists.
This tune is also known as “Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow.”
What Level is Easy Doxology?
Doxology is an elementary level piece, written in C Major. The left hand does not change position at all throughout the piece. The right hand does have a motive that requires a jump up an octave, but in the same hand position as the rest of the piece. This jump also occurs after a half note, giving students time to find the new register.
The piece is in common time, but does have one measure in 2/4. Helpful fingerings are included, and dynamics are notated. The smallest note value is a quarter note. Pedaling is indicated throughout the piece, in very easy-to-play ways.
Easy Doxology Bonuses:
This package is studio licensed which means that you can print and use it with as many students as you directly teach for your entire lifetime of teaching.
This easy Doxology also includes an mp3 recording of arranger Wendy Stevens performing the piece. Teachers are permitted to send the mp3 to students to help them learn or shape the piece more easily.
