Rhythm is the most fundamental part of music. As teachers, we know that without accurate rhythm, beautiful melodies become clunky, distracting and sometimes embarrassing.
Yet we often teach rhythm alongside the method book and don’t really focus on developing this fundamental skill. And we often teach rhythm with drills and other unmusical resources that are boring to students. Because of the slow progress, our students often have to count out loud longer than needed and we frequently have to correct mistakes.
But if we want our students to play with accurate rhythm, we must get the rhythm IN their bodies first before it can come out in their music.
That’s why teachers around the world are loving Rhythm Menagerie® and Rhythm Manipulations® since it puts rhythm IN their students. This FREE webinar on 8/25 will show you why teachers say:
I have consistently been using Menagerie and Manipulations in lessons with tracks (in person) and it’s the best resource out there for teaching rhythms. I just wish I had purchased it much earlier. Talk about lightening the load. The tracks are a must have and make it so much fun. So glad I invested in them!!
~ Veda
My students love practicing rhythm menagerie and earning the cute stickers! The accompaniment tracks are cool and engaging. All my students have made progress with rhythm counting in just a short time with this amazing tool!
~ Clara
They absolutely love it and we usually end up laughing when we get to the “Fun With Sounds” pages. “Rhythm Menagerie” is so well-planned. We move from easy to more difficult rhythm patterns with just enough repetition for students to really internalize the patterns. The backing tracks are easy to work with – easy to find online during a lesson. My students love them!
~ Pam
Rhythm Menagerie is a lifesaver in my lessons.
