A few weeks ago, I told you about a survey that the Butler Student Chapter was doing in regard to online marketing. They sent this as a follow-up and with a little more information about their session at MTNA this Monday:
Our survey reached over one hundred music teachers across the United States in the last two months. From the survey we identified that, contrary to common belief, the number of years teaching has no correlation with the teachers who use or do not use online marketing. Teachers young and old, those who have full studios, and those who are still looking for students have all
benefitted by marketing their business on the internet. The survey showed many other interesting statistics, many of which will be presented at our session at the MTNA conference. Our session will take place on Monday, March 26 at 11:00 am.At our session we will discuss the most practical tools for online marketing, share examples of professional teachers whose use of the Internet has been fundamental in achieving their success, and outline essential principles and practices to follow as one builds their online presence. The professional teachers which will be features come from all over the country and each has created a thriving web presence for their personal teaching business through social media and websites. We will showcase elements of their websites, Facebook pages, and more through a PowerPoint presentation to give the audience a first-hand look at cutting edge online marketing techniques used by highly successful music teachers.
