Fur de Lune is a peaceful lullaby for your furry best friend, with a flowing middle section played on the black keys. Scientific studies say that deep breathing and spending time with a pet lowers stress. While it’s not proven (yet!), we think that playing Fur de Lune may have the same effect as watching your pet snooze, their fur rising and falling as they dream.
What Level is Fur de Lune?
Fur de Lune is a late elementary level solo. The smallest note value is an eighth note, and pedaling is indicated. The piece is written in common time. The left hand plays both treble and bass clef, and the right hand plays treble clef only.
The piece is written in C major, which is indicated with a key signature. This piece contains flats and markings such as 8va, poco piu mosso and poco rallentando. Helpful pedagogical fingering is included.
Bonuses
With your purchase of the Fur de Lune studio license, you will receive a bonus mp3 recording of the piece performed by Jason Sifford. You are permitted to send this example performance track to your students to help them learn the piece.
Plus, a QR code is included on the first page of the PDF (not pictured in the sample) so students can scan the code and it will take them directly to the performance recording of the piece. This can help them be inspired and learn the piece even more effectively without you having to send the mp3 to them!
What is the Studio License?
Fur de Lune is delivered digitally (through your email receipt) and is studio licensed. This means that you can print and use these for any student that you directly teach for your entire lifetime of teaching.
