What Was the Matter With the Old Beats?
The old beats were just that – beats that made practicing more interesting and helped keep students on the beat. But they didn’t help the students play the rhythms more accurately and they certainly weren’t very musical. See below for a list of some of the drawbacks of using the old beats.
