Teachers: Web Rewards is an free, comprehensive service provided by ComposeCreate.com to help you assist your students as they prepare for Music Progressions and other state theory and listening tests (especially Kansas, Washington State, and North Idaho). As a teacher, you can use the online activities in your own lab or encourage your students to complete the activities at home online. Included in this service are free Melodic and Rhythmic Dictation exercises that are difficult to find. Worksheets, online games, and other preparatory activities are also included.
If you use Web Rewards, we ask that you purchase the new Web Rewards Answer Key and Checklists which will assist you in quickly checking the worksheets your students bring to you. Also included in this document are checklists for every level of Web Rewards that will help students and teachers keep track of their progress. Purchasing this resource will also help in deflecting the cost of creating these resources that we are providing for you. Thank you for your consideration of these things. I hope this service is a help to you and your students!

Lots of the resources don’t work now that adobe is finished 🙁
Hi Sophie,
Yes, unfortunately, not all of the sites to which we link update their resources or their technology. We can’t help that, but it’s still sad that many of them will just go into disuse.
Yes would love it if you could update them, or at least take the ones off that don’t work! I still had them out and just cross off things! Perhaps you’d let those of us who use them know if you’ve updated them? Thank you! Still love everything you’ve done to help Music P. prep easier! Thank you!!!!
The level four theory test thing in this website asks me if the exercise helps me. It does the exact opposite. It gobbles up my day and tires my brain so I can’t identify notes as well. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it less excruciatingly long. PLEASE.
Hi Isaac,
I’m so sorry that you are having trouble with this. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about it. As mentioned on the page where you can purchase “answers” to the rhythm and melodic portion of our web rewards:
So, we can’t control whether someone maintains their site or makes an activity difficult. We’re sorry about that, but we are mainly linking to sites that have been helpful in the past and aren’t responsible for the content on these sites.
I had requested the active listening sheet last week and was wondering when I could get a copy of it? It is just perfect for my performance classes. Thank you.
