This piano arrangement of He is Born the Divine Christ Child has the perfect pacing to uplift, encourage, and brighten any recital or church audience! The delicate introduction opens into a warm presentation with subtle rhythmic and harmonic shifts the push the momentum forward. The bold, bell like conclusion will continue to ring joyfully in listener’s ears. Musically satisfying for both the student and the mature performer.
Finding pieces that are musically satisfying and easy to learn is always a challenge. But He is Born culminates in a broad, musically satisfying experience for both the audience and the student or mature performer.

I love Wendy Stevens’ arrangement of this French Christmas carol. Reflective, joyful and victorious!

I performed Wendy’s arrangement of He Is Born yesterday and I enjoyed learning and performing it very much. The dynamic markings are intuitive and perfect for the final joyous finish. Thank- you for sharing your arranging and composing skills with the world.

From a student of mine: “This is the best Christmas song I’ve ever played. I love it!” When you say you offer music kids love, I have to agree. About 1,000%!

I played your arrangement of He Is Born in our church services. I love this arrangement so much. A few people commented between services about how much they enjoyed it. After the second service, as my husband and I were leaving, one of the members of our worship team found me and kind of grabbed me, and we held each other as he cried. I didn’t know why until a week later when he explained he had told me about something very heavy that he had learned about. He said hearing the music (I make sure the words are on the screen and correlate with the music) is just what he needed.
