Amazing Grace
Amazing Grace is approximately mid-elementary level. A majority of the notes are quarter and half notes and only the melody (which is familiar to the student, so easy to play) contains eighth notes. The piece moves to different positions on the piano, but is always easy to play. A single pedal throughout the piece makes the piece sound mature. The second verse allows the student to access a fifth in the lower part of the piano, giving the piece a bold and deep, mature sound. This arrangement is very rewarding for beginning students! Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee / Ode to Joy
Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee is approximately early intermediate level. Eight notes are the smallest note value and syncopated sections are simple and easy to execute. Students move up and down the piano in easy patterns that give a more round and full sound, making them sound more advanced. This arrangement is a modern, melancholy sound that especially the older student (pre-teens, teens, and adults) will enjoy. The keys included in this arrangement include C, D, and G major.Â
Bonus: For those that use the title Ode to Joy instead of Joyful Joyful
We know that a people know the Beethoven tune by different names. So with this bundle, you get both a version and cover called Ode to Joy and a version and cover with Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee. They are both neatly packaged in the same PDF file.
What is a studio license?
This bundle of sacred pieces comes with a studio license which permits the the purchasing teacher to make prints for any and all of their students that they are personally and directly teaching. The studio license is not a multi-teacher license, so it can only be used by one teacher.

I purchased both of these pieces for my students. I have many students who are celebrating significant events in their churches this spring such as First Communions and Confirmations. I had the idea that it would be a sweet gesture to print out a copy of one of the songs depending on ability, and present it to the child with a note and card, letting them know that I am interested in these important events of their lives !
