In addition, you’ll also receive 3 mp3s of all the pieces at three different tempos. You can send these mp3s to your students to help them remember the piece during the week. But remember that they can play the pieces at whatever tempo suits them.
Want to know more about Rote and Reading® teaching?
Since children learn best by doing first and not by reading first, it makes sense why rote teaching is so important in the early years of piano lessons. When you combine both rote teaching and reading, you’ll have more motivated students because they will be able to play more complicated music and sound more advanced. Having the score is also important though to help students understand that what they play also has meaning on the page.

I’m so happy with this bundle! I have several young beginners that I’ve used this with – they all love them, especially Cluck Cluck Moo!
I’ve also used this with a student who has taken a couple of years, but is struggling with fluidity and memorizing. She loved them so much she was willing to invest the time and memory came.
My students love the happy, fun, upbeat music they are able to make with these pieces.

Two of my students chose songs from this bundle to do for our recital. It’s a great option for brand new beginners to feel like they are doing a really big, grown up song all over the keyboard and easy for them to learn because the pattern repeats up the octaves. My kids love the silly themes and are very motivated to practice these songs. The duet parts make them even more fun! Also easy to teach the parents so they can help their kids practice at home.

I have 3 little girls who are beginners this year. After careful thought, I decided to purchase the Barnyard Fun bundle. Each girl’s lesson was Tuesday, and I introduced them to their piece and taught the first pages to each. You should have seen their smiles! They all were so excited and thought the pieces were so fun! I can’t wait to perform these with them at our May recital!
