New Summer Piano Music Release

“When is snack time, Mom?”

This is the question I get almost every day in the summer. I even asked my kiddos what their favorite time of the day was recently, and they answered, “Snack Time!” So I decided it was high time to write some fun summer piano music about this incredible time of the day for kids. Lol.

We’ve got a sweet and salty problem at our house. Do you?

Have you noticed the rise of sweet and salty products in the last 10 years? I know it was “a thing” long before that because my mother-in-law used to talk about needing something “sweet” with her “salty.” I love salted caramels and found that it really became a “flavor of the year” in 2008 according to this article. But whatever year it started, my kids are always asking for something sweet and salty. So of course, this had to be a part of the song!

Why is it this so easy to play?

This fun summer piano music is elementary level. Most of this piece includes just steps. There are a few skips in the chorus.

But the biggest part of the piece is actually the easiest! The chorus uses a 5th in the right hand while the left hand just plays one note. This might seem difficult (and finding the notes may take some thought initially), but then those notes repeat and it’s soooo easy to play. But it sounds advanced!

Watch Snack Time:

What’s included in my purchase?

  • Piano solo(s) with lyrics
  • Cover (we always include that)

Plus, because this piece is a studio license (as are all the pieces in these bundles), you can use it for ALL the students that you  directly teach every year you are teaching. That’s like getting an unlimited supply of a piece of Music Kids Love® for less than $10!
