Not at all! When you check out, you have the option to use Paypal, but it will not default to Paypal. You can just choose the Credit Card (Stripe) option, checkmark the “I’ve read and accept the terms and conditions” and then click the Continue to Payment button where you can enter your card number and checkout! A studio license is an awesome deal because it:
* Licenses you as a teacher to print as many of that particular piece as you need for students that you directly teach.
* Gives you a high quality PDF that you can either print from your home computer or send to a print shop
* Belongs to you for the rest of your teaching career
* It gives you an “unlimited” supply of that piece of Music Kids Love®.
A studio license cannot be share with any other teacher, even within the same “studio.” So a multi-teacher studio would need to purchase a separate studio licensed piece for each teacher that will be using it with their students.
A single license for a piece means:
* Only one person can use the piece at any time.
* It cannot be transferred to another person even when the original purchaser is not using it.
So for example, if you purchase a single license for Danny, and he plays it for his recital and then is done with it. You cannot use that piece for anyone else at any time. You would need a single license for every individual person who ever plays the piece.
That’s why the studio license is such a deal! You only have to buy the studio license one time and then you don’t have to worry about only using it one time.
There are more details about the studio and single license that you can read on our Terms and Conditions page.
We often “bundle” music or resources together for a discount. So, if you want a great deal, check out our bundles pages where you can see all kinds of ways to save money with pre-packaged bundles.
Elementary Music Bundles – Some of these elementary pieces are bundles with intermediate pieces
Intermediate Music Bundles
Advancing Music Bundles
Rhythm Bundles – Almost all of these pages have different bundles from which to choose in their drop down menu on the product page.
Unfortunately, no. The bundles are all pre-packaged, so if you do not see your piece in a bundle on the bundle page and if you don’t see that there’s a bundle advertised on the product page (see picture below), then there is probably not a bundle for that product.
Yes, we do have prints for a few of our older pieces (shop just prints here), but most of our pieces are digital and studio licensed. Here’s why:
Some of our music is published by Hal Leonard and Willis Piano Music. When this is the case, then ONLY printed music is available. There are also a few of our ComposeCreate pieces that are available as prints.
If a particular ComposeCreate piece is available as a print, then you will see it in the drop down menu options above the Add to Cart button on that product’s page:
The music that is published by Hal Leonard and Willis Piano Music will be pretty obvious based on their covers. But just in case you want to be sure that your order only has prints in it, you’ll see the word “PRINTED” as part of the title of every book or sheet that is a print.
This is what it will look like when you are double-checking your cart on the Cart page.
We do not do site-wide sales because we price our studio-licensed music at a very low price so that you are always getting a sale when you purchase the studio license. This is because, with the studio license, you can print that particular piece as many times as you need for as many students as you are directly teaching. We also know that it’s just too disappointing when you purchase something at full price, only to see it on sale the next week. So, we like to be consistent so you always know how to get the best price.
However, we DO love to have SALES on new items! We bring out each new piece or resource on sale for 3 days. That’s our “sale” strategy and if you always purchase music when it first comes out, you can know that you are getting the best price. Newsletters with new items typically come out every Tuesday or Wednesday, so just be sure to open them every time there is one and you won’t miss a thing!
Plus, our webinars are a great way to get the best price on all our new music! Be sure you are on our newsletter or texting messages (text anything to (913) 347-4903 to join) so you know when these happen.
We also often “bundle” things together so that you can get a better price when you purchase a bundle of 2 or 3 pieces. So, if you want to purchase some music that is not a new release, check out our bundles pages where you can see all kinds of ways to save money with pre-packaged bundles.
Elementary Music Bundles – Some of these elementary pieces are bundles with intermediate pieces

Advancing Music Bundles
Rhythm Bundles – Almost all of these pages have different bundles from which to choose in their drop down menu on the product page.
COUPONS: We typically do not have active coupons because we know how frustrating it is to have a coupon and then forget to use it. So instead, we just make our sales clear and active so that anyone who puts the item in their cart gets it when it’s on sale. No coupon required as long as you purchase before the sale is over.
Purchasing music from the ComposeCreate store is the best way to make sure that we can continue to provide you with Music Kids Love®, helpful articles, and free resources!
Another big thing that helps is when you tell your teaching friends about the ComposeCreate website. Though thousands of teachers know and use the site daily, even more don’t even know it exists. Thank you for your continued support and your frequent emails about how you are able to use these resources.
And then of course, please abide by copyright law. We actively protect our copyrights as this is important for us to stay in business.
We would love to consider you as a dealer for ComposeCreate printed music, though we don’t have much printed music available. Simply send us an email telling us the name of your store and where you are located and we’ll send you the form you need to fill out to become a dealer. It’s super easy! Please keep in mind that you will need a sales tax certificate or resales certificate in order to become a dealer.
We can easily ship to any U.S., Canadian, Australian, United Kingdom, and New Zealand address. Prices for addresses outside of the U.S. are based on weight. We’re sorry that shipping charges are so high, but I’m sure there’s a lot of expense in getting things places via air and such things.
However, for U.S. addresses, we currently (as of 7/15/20) offer flat fee $6.50 shipping (subject to change). We ship via media mail unless the package is so light that we can ship it First Class considering other expenses. Please note that shipping prices with USPS usually increase every January. We’ll still try to keep it nice and inexpensive!
Shipping to other countries is quite expensive these days, though. So for non-U.S. customers, the best deals are purchasing studio licensed digital music since there are no shipping charges with that.

The rhythm books (Rhythm Cup Explorations, Rhythm Menagerie, and Rhythm Manipulations are all PDF downloads so your links will come or have already come to you in your email receipt.
We do this so that you have a lot of flexibility in how you display or print. You can show it to students on a computer, projector, iPad, or just print the pages that you need. You can send it to a print shop to print it for you or you can make prints from your home printer on card stock and laminate them. There are a lot of options and sending it as a PDF file makes any prints you do make high quality instead of cheap looking copies from a copy machine.
We are also able to offer these indispensable rhythm resources which can be used again and again (because of the studio license) at a much cheaper price because of making it a digital resource.
The Rhythm Cup Explorations™ notation symbols and meanings are a proprietary system developed by ComposeCreate. You can see symbols and their meanings in this Rhythm Cup Explorations™ copyright terms and symbols.
Technical Questions:
There are several ways to do this depending on your version of iOs.
IOs13 or later
1. Click on the download link in your email receipt (or your account if you purchased with your account). This will pull up a screen that looks something like this:
2. Tap the “More” link. This will pull up the options for saving on your iPad or iPhone.
3. Click the “Save to Files” option:
4. This will place your zip file in your Files. Click that zip file to unzip it and extract the folder of tracks.
5. Open the folder that is extracted and click on the track you want to play.
Split View! To play the tracks at the same time as you can see the PDF:
IOs has a special feature called “Split Screen” that will enable you to do this. This is an Apple program, so you’ll need to follow their tutorials to learn to do this and contact them for support if you have trouble. Keep tapping and clicking though…you’ll figure it out!
Here’s how to do split screen according to Apple.
Here’s another helpful explanation from Apple.
To download and use tracks on earlier versions of IOS:
The best way to do this is to get them on your home computer first where you can unzip them easily. Then, you’ll just need to transfer the to iTunes and sync your iPad. If you don’t have iTunes on your PC, you can download it on the Apple site and follow the directions that are on this site.
How to get them to your iPad and/or play with iTunes (assuming you have iTunes on your computer):
1. Click on the link (be sure to do this to both). This will cause them to download to your computers “downloads folder.”
2. To open the zipped files, find them in your downloads folder and then double click. This will extract the files to a folder.
3. Double click the folder that is created to see all the tracks.
4. Open iTunes and in the upper left hand corner, click File > New > Play list and name it.
5. Drag the files from your Downloads folder to iTunes.
6. After you put them in iTunes, be sure to connect your iPad to your computer and you’ll sync the files and be able to see them on your iPad.
How to download the beats straight to your iPad:
1. Download iZip to your iPad. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/izip-zip-unzip-unrar-tool/id413971331?mt=8
2. Go to the iPad email program. Open the email and click on the link. The email program will automatically take you to a browser and will have a box that says “Open in” or “Open in iZip.” Choose “Open in iZip.”
3. Your iPad will take you to iZip and iZip will say “Would you like to extract all files?” Say OK.
4. The files will be there and you can click on any of them to play them! You can select individual files and click the “open in” choice at the bottom of the screen to open in AnyTune if you have that installed. That will give you more controls for pausing, looping, etc. [NOTE: Apple does not let you play mp3s on iTunes that are not purchase through iTunes, UNLESS you download them to your computer first, drag them to iTune on your computer and then sync your iPad to that.]
While on your iPad or iPhone, simply check your email and click the download link that comes to you after you order. Then, when the PDF opens up, tap the document and you will see an “open in…” message appear. Choose which program you want to open your PDF in and your iPad or iPhone should save it in that program.
You can also log into your account and download them under the Downloads Tab after you are logged in.
As of August 1, 2017, we moved to a much better store system! What we love is that we paid developers extra to preserve all of your past orders and create an account for you so you can get to them if you ever lose them.
So, getting into your account the first time is super important, but once you do it, you can get in much easier next time by asking it to remember you!
Here is how to get into your account for the first time:
1. Click here to go to your account and click the Lost Your Password? link. This will open in a new tab so you can come back here and read the directions.
2. Enter the email you’ve used to make past purchases and then click Reset Password.
3. Go to your email and open the email from ComposeCreate. Reset your password with the link your email.
4. Now refresh the My Account page or just open it here again and log in on the account page with your info.
User Name: That’s your email address you used to make past orders.
Password: That’s the one you just created in step 3.
5. Optional: Go to Account Details and then update your email address if you have a new one. You can use this email to log in for the future and to make sure you get your orders in your own email!
6. (Looks like 7. on the graphic below) Optional: After you are in your account, you can also choose to link your Facebook or Amazon account login info so you can easily login in the future!
Now you should be able to see all your orders and downloads from the past! Be sure to make future orders with this account to keep everything in one place.
Once you get into your account, you’ll see options for seeing orders or downloads.
If you ordered as a guest after 8/1/17…
Please create an account and then contact us. We’ll be happy to assign your guest order to your account but please allow extra time. Thanks!
Go to your App store on your iPad and search for and download the free Winzip program.
Go back to your mail and click on the download link from the email I sent you.
This will launch your browser and it will ask you where you want to open it. Choose to open it with WinZip.
Your files will extract automatically and you can play (if it’s an mp3) or view (if it’s a PDF) from the WinZip program.
If you wish to move it to another program (like you want to move your PDF to Notability or Adobe Reader), then click the little icon on the top right that looks like a square with an arrow pointing up. This will give you other programs options for opening and storing these files.
P.S. If you want to move your mp3 files to iTunes, Apple does not make an option for this. You’ll have to move these to your desktop and move them to iTunes from there and then sync with your devise. You can still play the mp3s from WinZip or I would recommend downloading and moving it to AnyTune so that you can control the speed!!!!
It sounds like you are on a Mac or perhaps don’t have the latest Adobe Reader installed on your PC. Mac defaults to the “preview” program to open PDFs, but this is not a fully enabled PDF viewer program. Make sure that you download the free Adobe Reader (the industry standard for viewing and printing PDFs) and if you have it downloaded and are using it, make sure it’s the latest version. You can get it or update it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/ Then click on the file and choose to open it in Adobe Reader.
Your links are on the upper right hand side of your email receipt which came within minutes of your purchase.
If you don’t see your receipt, please check your spam or junk folder. Ninety-nine percent of the time when you can’t find it, it is there. If you will check that and mark the email from ComposeCreate.com as “not junk” or move it to your inbox, you’ll usually not have this problem again. Be aware that whatever email address you used to checkout with…that’s the email address it goes to. So if you haven’t taken time to update your email…it could be in a spouse’s email address.
If you still cannot find it, please do a search for “wendy@composecreate.com” in your email and see if your receipt comes up.
Whenever this happens, it is almost always because the PDF has not opened in Adobe Reader which is the industry standard for opening and viewing PDFs. Make sure that you download the free Adobe Reader (the industry standard for viewing and printing PDFs) and if you have it downloaded and are using it, make sure it’s the latest version.
The way to make sure it opens in Adobe:
1. Make sure you have Adobe already installed. If not, you can get it here:
2. Go to your programs or apps folder and open Adobe Reader.
3. After it opens, in the upper left hand corder menu, click File.
4. Then click Open.
5. Then, browse out to your downloads folder or wherever you moved it and find the file and click on it. This should open it and display everything with no problem!
1. Go to your App store on your iPad and search for and download the free Winzip program.
2. Go back to your mail and click on the download link from the email I sent you.
3. This will launch your browser and it will ask you where you want to open it. Choose to open it with WinZip.
4. Your files will extract automatically and you can play (if it’s an mp3) or view (if it’s a PDF) from the WinZip program.

Just press enter/return on your keyboard. Chances are, your screen is small enough that you can’t see the “okay” button that’s at the bottom of the javascript message. The message just appears when you open it to remind you not to print it all at once (it will overwhelm home printers) and to kindly remind you of the copyright.
If you have purchased these workshops or products:
* “The Best Stress-free Business Practices for Your Studio
* “Marketing, Taxes, Business Entities and Liability”
* “America the Beautiful Cup Tapping”
* “Have You Forgotten What It’s Like to be a Child?”
Then, you will get a separate email about how to access the videos. But here is basically how it tells you to do this. Keep in mind that you will be logging into a site called “Wistia” because they are the ones that host our videos. Logging into ComposeCreate.com will not give you access to the videos.
1. Go here: https://composecreate.wistia.com/login
2. If you do not have an account, use the email address that you used to purchase the workshop to create a username and password.
3. Log in. Make sure that you use the email address you used to purchase the workshop or resource.
Streaming Tracks Questions:
1. Click My Account and log in
2. Click Memberships tab (this will only be present if you have purchased a subscription to streaming tracks).
3. Click on any of the content links that you’ll see. This will take you to your tracks. Once you are in a tracks page, you can click on the new menu that appears at the top and toggle between books.
Here is a video that explains this:
1. Go to the streaming tracks page and find the streaming tracks to which you’d like access. Add them to your cart.
2. Be sure that you log in before you check out so that your tracks are tied to your account. If you do not have an account, you can create one as you check out just by adding a password at the bottom of the checkout page.
3. Checkout.
4. Once you checkout, you’ll see links to your streaming tracks. But the easiest way to get to your streaming tracks is to:
a) Go to the home page and click on My Account.
b) Click on the Membership tab. You’ll see your content and all the pages you have access to there.
c) Click on one of the content links and you’ll go to your tracks. Once you are in a tracks page, you can click on the new menu that appears at the top and toggle between books.

Account Questions:
If you know you have an account, go to My Account and log in.
If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the lost your password link. Be sure to enter the email address that you have used to make purchases in the past.
Once you are logged in, you can connect your account so that you can log in with Facebook or Amazon credentials.
There are several reasons for this:
* It could be that you checked out as “guest” which is what happens if you purchase something and you are not logged in.
Don’t worry, though. We can re-assign your purchase to your account.
* You may have purchased made multiple orders from different email address.
* Your order will always be associated with your email. So, if you made purchases in the past with one email address and then log in with a different email address, you will not see the purchases that were made with a different email address.
What’s the fix?
Don’t worry! We can help. Just email us and tell us the following:
1. What is the issue? (“I don’t see my most recent purchase.” “I don’t see any orders.”)
2. Tell us what email address you used to log in.
3. Tell us ALL the other email addresses you might have ever used to make a purchase.
4. Tell us which email address is the BEST one for your account so that we can get it all lined up and straight for you!
hi wendy,
I just downloaded your rhythm cups book. I do not have an ipad and really don’t want to print this out on my printer.
I can bring this to a copy store and make into book form right? Your thoughts and ideas?
Thank you,
martha
Hi Martha,
Absolutely! You can take it to a printer and they can make it into a book form beautifully. If you are an MTNA member, be sure to use your MTNA discount card and you can get cheaper color copies if you use Office Depot!
It appears that these materials aren’t available in regular book format. Is that correct? I love your stuff but would like to have it a regular paper copy without having to download, so I’m just checking. Thanks!
Hi Jeanne,
Thanks for your interest! You are right that a majority of my items are downloads. You can definitely take them to a printer to have them printed though if you want to do that.
There are a few books on the music page (look at All is Calm Christmas, Rejoice, and a few others) that are actual books that you can order. Thanks!
I recently purchased Rhythm Menagerie and I was wanting to project it for a classroom, but to convert to a power point it asks for a password. Is there another way to do this that I’m not just not thinking of? Or do you provide a password to do such a thing?
Hi Marla,
Sorry for the delay responding…I’ve been out of the office for a much needed break. I think the best way to do this is just to show it in the Adobe Reader program. You can enlarge pages or just show page by page in that program. Thanks for your purchase and I hope your students have fun!
Hi Wendy!
I purchased an unlimited studio copy of Mob Bop on 3/17 and downloaded and saved it on the spot! Or at least I saved the PDF file but I can’t seem to find the MP3 for the accompaniment anymore! Can you help me?
Yes of course, Janna! I just sent you an email. We’ll get you taken care of! ~Wendy
Hi Janna,
I sent you an email a few days ago with help! Do let me know if you’ve received it. I’ll make sure you are taken care of. Thanks!
GM, Wendy. I registered for both of your workshops on Wed. Apr. 29th. I received the confirmation e-mails from you, but have not yet received the e-mails from GotoWebinar. Not in my Spam box either. I believe there is only a 72-hour window in which to access this info from GotoWebinar.
Margaret
Hi Margaret!
Thanks again for registering. I’m sorry you haven’t received anything from GoToWebinar! You are indeed registered with them, so I’m not sure why their confirmation didn’t get to you. I just logged in and sent you your confirmation emails from them which have your link by which you can join on May 12th and 14th.
Please let me know when you receive these!
Thanks so much!
Hi I am in the same boat as Margaret- ordered the marketing and taxes webinar yesterday but no email from go to webinar in inbox or junk folder.
Hi Sophie,
Thanks so much for letting us know that you were still waiting. Yesterday, we were still editing, rendering, polishing and uploading the video, so it wasn’t available yet. Unfortunately, we have to manually give access to the recording (unlike purchasing rhythm books and music which generate automatically), so we need a little extra time to do the back side things to get you access.
BUT the good news is that you should now have access! I just sent you a separate email about how to access it. Let me know if you don’t get it!
Wendy
I’m hoping you can clarify this situation. I ordered both the Rhythm Cup Explorations and BEATS via your website via Paypal to my credit card. My statement shows that I was charged as of 4/22. I’ve NEVER received anything – no notification that you received my order, no pdf’s, no audio files, nothing. I’ve checked and rechecked my spam – nothing. I sent you an e-mail asking why I was not receiving my purchase. No response.
My piano teaching colleagues have recommended you. I hope that this is just some glitch, and that I can continue to believe in that recommendation.
Thank you for a timely response.
Joe Klice
josephklice@sbcglobal.net
Dear Joe,
I’m sorry you haven’t been getting my messages! My email shows that my website send you your order confirmation and download link within minutes after you purchased it on 4/21. Then, I responded to your email that you sent 5/4 right away (as I always do when someone is having trouble…unless it comes on the weekend). SO, there must be something about your email that is keeping my messages from coming through. Please check your spam filter for an email from ComposeCreate.com from 4/21 and 5/4 and you can see that I have been indeed responded and trying to get you your order!
Please email me and we can try this again! I haven’t been receiving bounces from your address, so I’m guessing that it’s just ending up in your spam.
Keep me posted and if you can’t get something through or don’t get a response, you might send me a different email address to which I can try to deliver it.
We’ll figure it out! I never give up on customers and always make sure they get what they order! 🙂
Wendy
Wendy,
I appreciate your timely response. However, as I look back to both my e-mail inbox and spam inbox for both dates of 4/21 and 5/4, there is no correspondence from you. I did receive a payment confirmation on 4/21 from Paypal, but nothing from you. And there is no e-mail from 5/4. Obviously, something is amiss, either from your end, my end, or our servers. I did receive your message above as a private e-mail to the address. Hmmmm. I also have two other addresses you could use: and . I’m sure there is a solution to this problem. Thank you.
Joe
Hi Joe,
Yes, sometimes there is no great explanation to an undelivered email. You should have a new email, complete with all your download links (fresh ones) in all of the email addresses that you sent me.
Since there was no bounce on your email address, and since I did respond to your email on 5/7, I had no idea that you didn’t get those emails. I apologize for that. I go the extra mile to make sure everyone gets what they order when I know that there is a problem.
Please know that customers and orders take #1 priority around here and I hope this quick response to your comment will confirm that should you choose to order again.
Thanks again for your patience!
Wendy
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for your perseverance. This time the downloads appeared on all e-mail address sites. You have turned me into a satisfied customer. I commend you on your positive approach to your business and your customers, and your commitment to solving any and all problems! Through this process you have shown how we as piano teachers can approach problems in our studios and solve them positively and creatively. Thanks!
If other Mac users experience difficulties downloading materials, I recommend using Chrome as your browser.
I haven’t received the link for my order from Nov 11th. I did receive the PayPal receipt but no other correspondents from you for the PDFs.
Hi Shannon! You must not be receiving my replies. I sent you an email on November 25th in response to your email to me. Check your spam or junk folder and I’ll bet you’ll find it there! If you don’t, send me another email wendy at composecreate .com and then watch your spam filter for my response. You’ll also be able to re-generate your download links here, but again, your email must be filtering my messages, so watch your spam when you do. https://composecreate.com/store/past-purchases-help/
Keep me posted!
I just downloaded and can’t wait to share with my students. Which pages go with the mp3 because the second book has 3/4 Time, but the mp3 don’t match.
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your purchase! Good question. There are only mp3s for book 1 at this time, but we are working on the ones for Book 2. Some of the mp3s in book 1 go with pages in Book 2, but obviously not with the compound meter or triple meter. For Book 1, you’ll see on the page which track to use.
I hope that helps at least explain it. I’ll let you know in a newsletter when the book 2 beats are available.
Thanks again!
I would love to use your materials but I teach at a public school and can access my funds only through the school purchase order system. Can you accomodate?
Hi Charlene,
Thanks so much for your interest! Yes, let me tell you how we can do that! We do require payment before sending the download links for the products, so here are two ways your school can do that with a purchase order:
1. Have your school contact me to let me know what it is you would like to order (and have them include your email, their email, and your name, and what the purchase order number should be). I can create a purchase order and send that to them. They can pay for this immediately with a credit card and then after it’s paid, I can send your items.
2. Your school can also send a check after I invoice them. They’ll need to let me know it’s coming and then I’ll be on the lookout for it and deposit it as soon as it’s here. My bank notifies me via email when a check is clear, so as soon as it’s clear, I can send you the download links for your items.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks again for your interest!
I bought the Rhythm Menagerie Book and read about using it digitally instead of printing. When I tried to email from my iPad it would only give me the option to mail the whole book. Is there a way to mail one page at a time or maybe I need to load it on my computer and try it there?
Thanks!
Jeanne
Hi Jeanne,
Thanks again for your purchase! The file doesn’t allow emailing individual pages. However, you can take a picture on your iPad to send. You can usually do this by pressing the home button and the side button at the same time. I hope that helps!
Hi, Wendy – In January I purchased Rhythm Cup Explorations and the Rhythm Beats mp3s as well. Today I attempted to unzip these files and it says they are empty. I was using Extract on my computer, so I followed your suggestion, downloaded WinZip and tried it that way. It said something about not having been archived. Anyway, I’m at a loss. Help, please! Thank you.
Hi Debbie,
The file download links expire after 4 days so that is probably what happened here. To get new files, you’ll need to visit this page: http://www.composecreate.com/store/past-purchases-help/ Let me know if that doesn’t help!
Wendy
I have ordered music in the past as studio license pieces. How do I find that music now?
Hi Daphne,
I just sent you an email about how to get new links. My website would have sent you an email within minutes of you ordering, so check your email and you can see how to get new links. If the email doesn’t come through, be sure to add “wendy@composecreate.com” to your contacts to “whitelist” my email address and be sure it comes through. Keep me posted! I’ll always make sure you get what you ordered!
Wendy
I just discovered your website today! Awesome! Love it! I am wondering if you ship to Canada? Thanks
Hi Linda!
Thanks so much for coming to the site! You’ll love the ComposeCreate community…there are great comments and ideas from other members, so always be sure to scroll down to see those.
Yes, I do ship to Canada. It’s expensive, but you probably already know that. Many of our products are digital, so you don’t have to have shipping with those. However it if the button that you push to add it to your cart says “Add prints to cart” or “Add book to cart,” that’s when you know that it will need to be shipped. Then, shipping will be added to your total after you click the check out button. You’ll be able to see the shipping amount before you pay!
Thanks so much for asking. Let me know if you need help finding anything!
Warmly,
Wendy Stevens
Hi Wendy, I just purchased the sheet music for Bald Escape and am unable to see the music. I also downloaded the Adobe file. What should I do next”
Joyce
Hi Joyce,
I just emailed you to help! Let me know if you didn’t get the email!
Wendy, I can’t figure out from your instructions how to down load the mp3’s on my computer. I’ve tried your links, but just get more confused. could you walk me through it —SLOWLY? again. Joanne
Hi Wendy, Are your sound tracks available on iTunes? I would like to purchase the music to use with my iPhone and portable speaker in my music class. How would I go about getting your music on my phone?
Hi Dorothy,
Thanks for asking! No, they are not available on iTunes. To get them to iTunes, you’d have to put them on your commputer and then sync your phone with itunes that way. There are directions about how to do that above.
Thanks for using rhythm cups!
HI Wendy! Nothing ventured, nothing gained:) I am purchasing your piece The Royal Invitation. I saw the bundle price for it along with The Bold Escape. I purchased The Bold Escape last year. Any chance I can get a small discount on The Royal Invitation since I already have The Bold Escape. This penny pinching teacher just needed to ask! 🙂
Hi Melinda,
Thanks for asking, but I’m sorry I can’t help with that! I WILL tell you though how you can always gets the sale cause I know that’s important ! Every piece that we release is on sale through Friday of the release date. So be sure to check your email on Tuesdays and Wednesday to make sure you don’t miss anything. Royal Invitation was on sale I think about 3 weeks ago.
I hope that helps with future penny pinching! 😉
Hi, I teach piano lab at an inner city High School in Phoenix Arizona, and I would love to use your Rhythm materials with my kids. Is the Studio license enough to cover my situation, and if I buy the Rhythm bundle, is the Studio License included? Thanks! I have to have my Req in by this Wednesday for Instructional Aids, so I appreciate your quick response. Is the bundle entirely downloadable, or do I get a hard copy?
Hi Roberta,
Thanks for your interest in the rhythm materials!
The studio license comes with any of our rhythm books like Rhythm Menagerie, Rhythm Manipulations, Rhythm Cup Explorations 1, Rhythm Cup Explorations 2, and Holiday Rhythm Cup Explorations. You can use the resources for every student YOU directly teach. You only need to purchase more than one IF there is another teacher teaching from it. They would need their own studio license.
And yes, you can use the one resource with as many teachers or classroom in which YOU are teaching!
We keep the prices down on our rhythm products by making them available digitally. We send a high quality PDF of the entire book to you and the mp3s are also high quality. If you wish to make your own print, that is within the license when you purchase it provided you are the only teacher teaching from it.
I hope that helps! Feel free to email me any other questions you have!
HI Wendy! I ordered my books before March 9th and I have not received them. Can someone let me know the status of the shipment? I am soooo excited to do this with my middle school kiddos. They will love it! Thank you! Kimmy Sanders
Hi Kimmy,
I emailed you a few days ago with your answer! Please let me know if you didn’t get it. I’m always happy to help!
I was wondering if I can send copies of the mp3s to my students to practice with. It seems with the studio license I should be able to but I wanted to be sure. One has requested it! ?
Hi Jeanne,
That’s a great question! The answer to that is under the license info on the Beats page and I’ll paste a version of it here for you:
How can I legally use Rhythm Cup Explorations Beats?
“You have permission to use Rhythm Cup Explorations Beats with your students during their lessons. However, you are not permitted to send the entire set of tracks to any of your students. Instead, you can send students up to 4 mp3s (that would be all the tracks for one page) per week, but if you want them to have ALL of the tracks, you students must purchase them here. This license cannot be shared with or transferred other teachers, even within the same studio. See terms and conditions for full information.”
I’d just tell the parents to go purchase it themselves. At $5.99 (book 1) and $8.99 (2nd book), it’s an easy investment for them (and keeps me in business since I can’t make any money off repeat purchases like publishers do with method books).
Thanks so much for asking and especially for abiding by copyright laws. I’m sure you can imagine how much I appreciate it! 🙂
Hi Wendy,
I just ordered the bundled package of your rhythm cup explorations. I only received a link for the Rhythm Cup Explorations book and the beats, but there was not a link for the Book 2. Please let me know what happened and if I can get the Book 2. Thanks. Susan Nicholes
Hi Susan!
Sorry for the delay. I’m out of the office with limited internet. I just checked and it looks like you got all the links. Perhaps one just didn’t get clicked?
If you’d like to re-generate your links and try again, you can do so here: https://composecreate.com/store/past-purchases-help/
Keep me posted!
Dear Susan,
I’m sorry I didn’t see this until now. I have been out of the office. I checked your links and Rhythm Cup Explorations 2 was the 4th link in the set of links that you were sent in your Thank You email. It’s possible that you might have accidentally skipped over that one (I do that all the time)!
By now, your links will have expired, but you can get new links here (but only for a VERY limited time because we are moving to a new store soon). https://composecreate.com/store/faqs-and-troubleshooting
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Gratefully,

Hi Wendy!
Can you tell me the difference between the North American Piano Edition and the International Piano Edition? I live in Canada and assume that I should order the North American?
Thanks.
Debbie Scott
Sure thing, Debbie!
Piano vs. Classroom:
The only difference between the piano and classroom editions are the introductory pages for each unit. The piano edition instructs students to do activities on the piano. The classroom edition instructs students to do activities with “their instrument” and this will work with any instrument including piano.
North American vs. International:
The difference between the North American (uses terms like “quarter, half, whole”)and International edition (uses terms like “crotchet, minum, quaver”) have to do with what kind of rhythm terms you use.
And just for future reference…our new store is pretty cool because when you actually choose one of those, it will show a more detailed description right above the Add to Cart button. So if you are ever confused about which edition you need, go ahead and choose and edition and you’ll see a more detailed description.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
I purchased rhythm menagerie years ago with a email address that I no longer use. How do I get the updated version?
Just email me and tell me what the email address is that you used to purchase it. Also tell me what email address you want it to be under and I will make those adjustments for you and send you log in credentials so you can log in to your account and you’ll find your new edition!
Once you are logged in, you can change your password to your liking.
I’ll look for your email!
Hi Wendy,
I’m in Australia, and wonder if the Avery labels 5293 for your bonus stickers work outside the Americas?
I get so confused with the letter and A4 paper sizes!
Many thanks,
Veera
Hi Veera,
That’s a great question! We are working on figuring out what kind of Avery A4 sized round sticker labels can be obtained easily by Australians and other international teachers. We are waiting on a number of teachers to tell us what’s available in their area. If you’d like to help move the ball forward to get these developed for an A4 size, I’d love to have you do a search at an online office supply store at which you shop to tell me what Avery label number would have 24 stickers a page that are 1 2/3 inch. We’re definitely trying to get something out for the A4 size!
I need your mailing address because I do not have any credit cards. Please send your mailing address. I have an order with money, but my printer did not work. So there will be two items–The Rhythm Curriculum Bundle and We Three Kings of Orient are.
Cherry Wolf,
Hi Cherry,
I sent an email to you yesterday with my mailing address! If you can’t find it, please check your spam or promotions tab in your email. Now that I know what you’d like to purchase, then I can send you an invoice and you can see how much it will be.
I also created an “account” for you (no need to pay with credit card though) so that your download links can be in your account once you pay and the check clears! It will be easy to get them that way if you ever lose them. But don’t worry about the account yet. I’ll teach you how to use that later.
Thanks so much! Look for that invoice in your email now! You’ll see the invoice so you know how much to write the check for and then in a separate email, you’ll find the business address.
Gratefully,
Wendy Stevens
Hello Wendy,
I LOVE the Rhythm Cup Explorations 2 book! It’s so much fun and my students love doing cups!
I was doing page 18 today with some students, and we were using the sound files. It seems like the first three files are all at 44 bpm, even though the files should be increasingly faster (54, and 66). The 80 bpm file seems ok. Is this possible, or did I get the wrong files?
Many thanks,
Lorraine
Hi Lorraine,
I’m glad to hear that you are loving Rhythm Cup Explorations 2. I’m sorry you experienced trouble with the speeds. The first thing that I would suggest is redownloading the files. You can do that by logging into your account: https://composecreate.com/my-account/ and then clicking on your Downloads tab and you can find them there. If you checked out as a guest or don’t see them in your account, you’ll need to send me an email and I’ll help out in that way.
Thanks for using ComposeCreate resources!
Hi Wendy –I purchased your Holiday Recital templates for my school’s Christmas concert –They are great!! Will there be a different holiday template next year?
Hi Tracey! Thank you for your very kind review. Yes, we should have a new template next year! 🙂 We have spring, summer, and fall ones too:

I want to purchase the America the Beautiful cup routine for use in my classroom. Does it come with a video also?
Hi Kari,
Yes indeed. After you purchase, you will be sent information about how to access the training videos. There are 3 videos that you can watch that show you how to do the cup tapping techniques. Here’s where you purchase America the Beautiful: https://composecreate.com/product/america-the-beautiful/
Let me know if you have any other questions, I’m happy to help!
I would like to insert blank page(s) in the downloaded pdf of your music in order to have it come out correctly when I use Booklet printing in my printer; however, the password protect won’t allow that. Is there a way I can do that without printing each page separately, then rescanning with inserted blank page(s)?
Hi Linda,
Unfortunately, the PDF has to be locked for security purposes. But I would do it as you suggest, print pages 2-6 (or whatever) front and back and then print the cover separately if you just want a blank on the other side of it. Thanks for using my music!
Hello Wendy,
A parent asked me about the rhythm tracks for RM. It would be great to share them with the student for home use, but do you allow this (via phone or email, just the 4 tracks for the week)? Unfortunately, I can’t see any of my students purchasing their own tracks…
This resource is just beautiful when you use it with the tracks in lesson! Having the possibility to send them 4 tracks for the week would really make it easy for them to use it at home. I know they can use the pages as standalones, or with any rhythmic music in the background – but limiting the accompaniment to the exact length of the exercise, and having different characters to it just makes it so much more attractive to use for a girl who is a quite difficult to engage and gets bored easily….!
Can you help?
Hi Eugenia,
Thank you for asking about this! You are correct that under the licensing terms, the parents need to purchase the tracks for themselves. If we permitted teachers to share these 862 tracks, even a few at a time, we would have needed to charge about 7x the current price for each teacher. However, I find that parents will gladly invest in something this inexpensive (862 tracks for $49 is very inexpensive) IF they know how wonderful these tracks can be to helping their child be successful in rhythm, which in turn, will help them be much more successful in any musical endeavor they do.
So, the important thing is to communicate to them how much of a great investment these are. They will last for years for the student and can be used within the family for as many students as are in the family. So, they only have to purchase one set. It will make a huge difference in their rhythm abilities and rhythm is fundamental to ALL their music. Strengthening their rhythm is critical to their success and when parents hear you say this as a professional, they trust you and are willing to invest.
I hope that helps. Please feel free to use any of that verbiage to help parents understand the investment! And thank you so much for using Rhythm Menagerie and the accompaniment tracks with your students!
~ Wendy
Question: How do I access my account (purchase) history? It has popped up occasionally when I’ve been shopping but today I want to check on a past (possible) purchase and can’t find that information.
Thanks for your music and especially for your generous and usable games and puzzles. They are really appealing to students!
This is a new question
Catherine
Hi Catherine,
Great question! Here is where you will log in: https://composecreate.com/my-account/ If you have never logged in before, you’ll need to click on the “Lost Your Password” link to get a password set.
Once you are in, you’ll notice that ONLY the orders where you were logged in will be in your account (all orders before August 2017 will be there). So if you have made orders since then and they are not in your account, this is because you would have checked out as a guest. If that’s the case, you can email me and tell me the email for your account and I’ll re-assign those orders to you.
I hope that helps!
p.s. Thank you so much for your kind words about the music and resources. It means a lot to me, Catherine!
I have a teacher who’d like to purchase something from your website however I’m not seeing any contact information (phone number or email address’ not so user friendly). In order for me to create a purchase order for her to order something, I need to know to create you as a vendor in our software system. In order to do that I need an email address, phone number and billing address. Can you please assist? Thank you!
Hi Lacy! I’m sorry it wasn’t obvious where the contact page was. You can see a link to it in the footer of each page. Here is where you can send me a message and I can then send you what you need to know about making orders and get you my info for your software: https://composecreate.com/contact/ I’m out for a bit, but if I don’t hear from you soon, I’ll try to send you an email to establish connection. Thanks so much!
Hi Wendy,
I really like your music and was going to purchase. The shipping to Australia was a flat rate of $25, which was prohibitive, so I didn’t buy. If the music is emailed, why does there have to be a shipping cost?
Dear Ellie,
That’s a great question and I’m sorry that it’s not clear how it works. About 15% of our music comes as prints. So as long as you don’t choose any music that says “printed sheet” or “Printed book”, then no shipping fee will be charged to you! If you ever get a shipping charge and you don’t think you have something that is printed, check your cart. All of our printed books and sheets have the word “printed” in the title, so you can just check the titles to remove the one with the printed word in it.
Does that make sense?
You might also take a look at the FAQs on this page under “Tell me about shipping charges.” This will give you more information about this: https://composecreate.com/faqs-and-troubleshooting/
I hope that helps. Thank you so much for your interest in my music. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help making sure that you only get non-print items. I’m happy to help you out!
Gratefully,
Wendy Stevens
Can you tell me what the difference is between “Book 1 beats only” ( book pdf and the mp3?) and “North American PDF + beats Studio Use Digital” (book pdf and the mp3 for mutliple students’ use in class?)? I’m trying to figure out what I really need. Thank you!
Hi Vicki,
Thanks for asking! If you choose the “Book 1 beats only” you’ll only get the mp3 accompaniments and NOT the PDF of the book. This option is available for people who have just purchased the book in the past and realize that they want the beats as well.
So, the “North American PDF + beats Studio Use Digital” is a package that will include both the PDF book as well as the mp3 beats. It comes with a studio license which allows you to print the PDF as many times as you ever need for students you directly teach. Most people order the PDF book and beats at the same time for maximum fun and musical learning.
Here’s the main page for the bundle that will allow you to order easily:
https://composecreate.com/product/rhythm-cup-bundle/
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions at all!
Warmly,
Wendy Stevens
Thank you, Wendy! That answers my question perfectly!
I just recently got a new computer and had to back up and re-install all my programs. I got my students working on the America the Beautiful cup tapping piece to perform for our Spring Recital and found that the Accompaniment mp3’s won’t work anymore. Very disappointing. Any help??? It’s a bit late to get them to work the piece up to accompany and we just need to practice it all together ASAP.
Dear Marlene,
Yes, I’m happy to help you with that! I just re-generated your download permissions and all you need to do is log into your account using the email address you used to purchase that item. If you have never logged in before, click the “lost your password” link and you’ll be able to set a password. Here’s where you can log in: https://composecreate.com/my-account/
Once you are in, click on your downloads tab and you’ll be able to find your America the Beautiful downloads there, including the orchestrations!
I hope that helps! Keep me posted if you have other questions!
~ Wendy
Wendy,
This is Sue Knutson from Missouri. I received those first Recital pieces in the mail. I have not received any more of my order.
I’m not sure what to do from here!!!!!!
Hi Sue!
I sent you an email on June 25th with answers to your questions. I hope you received it. I sent another email today just circling back to make sure that you were able to get everything using the directions I sent, but the email to you bounced back. So I hope you get this message!
Warmly,
Wendy Stevens
Hello,
I would like to order Rhythm Cups Explorations 1 with Beats for my grandson. If I receive the mp3 via email, can I forward it to my daughter (his mom), or would it be best to have it emailed to her?
Thank you,
Bev
Hi Bev,
Thank you for your interest in purchasing Rhythm Cup Explorations 1 with beats for your grandson! What a fun grandmother you are. 🙂
Why don’t you check out as a guest (don’t click the box to create an account) and then email me and I’ll give you instructions on how to get it to your daughter so that the license is owned by her.
Keep me posted and just reply to your receipt email and I’ll get things transferred to her so that she’s the owner.
Thanks so much!
Wendy,
I am trying to make a purchase. Everytime I put my zip code in, I get an error message that the zip code failed validation. I tried both my studio address and my home address. I have cancelled the order for now. Please email me with some kind of solution. I really would like to complete the purchase and get the music, it’s a print edition. Thanks!
Judy
Hi Judy,
I just emailed you with help. If you don’t see the email, be sure to check your spam or promotions tab. I know we can make this work, so just reply to the email and we’ll get it going for you!
Thanks!
Wendy
Hi, Wendy,
I recently purchased a single-use download of This Is My Father’s World. My wonderful feline “helper” threw up on it (no reflection of his opinion of the piece, I promise!). I tried to print another copy of it but that is not allowed. Do I have to purchase it again?
Thanks,
Karen
Hi Karen,
I just emailed you with the answer! You definitely don’t need to purchase it again since it is just you using it. I sent instructions for you. Let me know if you don’t get it!
~ Wendy
Hi Wendy,
I am having trouble logging in to my account – I seem to have lost my password and I want to reset it – but after going through the procedure, I am not receiving an email from you to reset the password. I’d really like to purchase some material and obviously I can’t do that until I can log in again – are you able to help?
Karen
Hi Karen!
I checked, and the order you placed in October was actually placed as a guest, so you don’t have an account yet. That’s why the system didn’t recognize you.
All you need to do to create an account is checkmark the box “create an account” when you place your next order. I’ll attach a screenshot so you can see. Then, email me back and ask me to transfer your previous guest purchase to your account and I’ll be happy to do that!
Let me know if you have any questions!
Hi Wendy,
I am a dance instructor who is interested in teaching music rhythms and styles so my students can better move with the music. More precisely, I would like them to be able to recognize music rhythms such as East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Charleston, Two Step, Polka, Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Salsa, Samba, Waltz, Nicht Club Two Step, and Triple Two Step.
Could you please advise me if your books would be appropriate, and if so, which ones should I get first?
Many thanks in advance,
Patrice
Hi Patrice,
Thank you for your interest in ComposeCreate products! I can see how that kind of a resource would be important for your dance students. I don’t really have anything that teaches about music styes. You might try Bradley Sowash’s resources here: https://bradleysowash.com/
The Rhythm Cup Explorations curriculum could be really fun for your dance students and definitely help them read and internalize rhythms better, but it’s not designed to help recognize specific styles. However, you might find it very helpful in helping them learn to read rhythms: https://composecreate.com/product/rhythm-cup-bundle/
I hope that helps!
Hi Wendy!
I bought Rhythm Cup Explorations 2 a few years ago before backing tracks were available. I see you have them with the pdf but wondered whether you sell the tracks as a bundle only? I have the complete version of book 1 and my pupils would love to go on to book 2 with the music! Thank you – Alison
Hi Alison,
The answer is yes! You can do that here:
https://composecreate.com/product/rhythm-cup-explorations-2-beats/
Thanks for your interest!
Have you ever considered having everything available online so students just have to login instead of downloading and printing? I think our charter school (Inspire Charter School, mostly homeschooled children using public funding) would consider purchasing on a large scale if you had that format.
Hi…is Rhythm Cup Explorations a stand-alone unit, or is it important to first work through Rhythm Menagerie and Manipulations?
Great question, Stefanie! Rhythm Cup Explorations is actually a supplement to the core curriculum that is Rhythm Menagerie and Manipulations. It’s not intended to be thorough or to have enough material in it to help ensure competency like Rhythm Menagerie is. So I would definitely start with Rhythm Menagerie and Manipulations as your core curriculum.
However, that said, a LOT of teachers start with Rhythm Cup Explorations because it is just so much fun and easy to implement. Teachers say that they see lots of improvement in rhythm even just using it as a stand alone curriculum, so I think you’ll like what you see however you use it.
Does that help? Let me know if you have other questions!
Gratefully,
Wendy
Yes, that helps! thanks!!
I have a question about the rhythm cups. I do activities at an assisted living facility and I think the residents would love doing rhythm cups. What would you suggest as a good starting point. Some are showing early signs of dementia, so it needs to be easy enough for them to follow, but not so easy that others won’t enjoy it. Any thoughts?
Hi Carol,
That’s a great question! I know of several teachers that use Rhythm Cup Explorations in an assisted living facility. I think the best book for you, considering some residents have early signs of dementia, would be the new My First Rhythm Cup Explorations book. It comes out on August 27th and it has easier rhythms, many of which can be taught by rote. There is only one rhythm per page, so that makes it less distractable. Even though it was designed for younger students, I think it will be perfect for older people as the notes are also larger on the page. You can sign up for a webinar about this book here: https://events.genndi.com/register/818720503324743743/d46b736443
Even though other teachers have used Rhythm Cup Explorations 1 and 2 in these settings, I really think the new book is what you need! Let me know if you have any other questions!
I have purchased Be Thou My Vision and have loved learning to play it! Do you ever provide fingering in your music scores? I have spent quite a bit of time figuring out the fingering in this piece that works for my hands. But I am not sure I have made the best choices and would appreciate guidance/
Hi Carolyn,
I’m so glad you are loving Be Thou My Vision. Yes, in the last few years, we have started putting fingering in (especially the difficult parts) our advanced music. So, we are always trying to improve and I’m sure it was comments like yours that helped us know that this would be handy, even for mature and advanced pianists.
So thank you for asking! I think you’ll find almost all advanced music in the last few years has fingering in it!
Hi Wendy,
Thank you for your fine work. You are a musical saint. Compose Create looks so good!
I’m not a teacher (yet), but I’m a senior adult just starting out in learning piano. Need some advice in how to start out. I’m willing to work hard on my own, but it would be great to find an online teaching program that is just right for me. Looking around, I see different approaches, some which downplay the importance learning to read conventional piano scores, and I’m weary of getting off to a bad start that would create habits that could limit my progress.
On the other hand, I’m eager to move as quickly as possible with theory and exercises, and get on with some ‘muscle memory”. Having played trumpet for many years, I know those aspects of music. But I’m short on the greater challenges of piano, with two hands and polyphonic notes. With the internet now, are there some interactive tutorials you would recommend? Or some structured program for adults? Something more appealing to adults?
What all is out there? I’m sure you know. What would you recommend?
Thanks!
James Salter
james.robert.salter@gmail.com
Hi James,
I don’t have any experience with specific online piano learning programs. But I would encourage you to check out Kristin Yost’s program here: https://www.musicalmindsonline.org/
I hope that helps!
Where do you recommend purchasing the cups from? I’m concerned about color and durability.
Hi Heather,
You can get disposable cups from a party store or a regular store like a grocery store or Walmart or Target. You can tape 2 of the cups together to make the more durable. They are very easy to find as they are just disposable plastic cups. However, you can also get non-disposable plastic cups…the sky’s the limit with those. If you do get non-disposable, just warn your students that they should only bonk their forehead (for the forehead bonk) lightly.
I hope that helps!
Hello Wendy,
I’m interested in using your Rhythm Cup Explorations in my studio. However, since I’ve had to move to online classes I’m wondering if my students will be able to do the exercises without anyone else there? Can one person do the exercises alone?
Thanks!
Hi Wendy,
Love your stuff! I am thinking about buying the Rhythm Menagerie. My home desktop has the ability to print all the pdf’s. However, I have no understanding of mp3. I do have an Ipad that goes with me to my studio. I would like to get the mp3’s on my Ipad, and the pdf’s on my desktop computer. How do I access the mp3’s on my Ipad? I really would like a plan before I purchase. Thanks. Bailey
Hi Bailey,
Thanks for your interest in Rhythm Menagerie! We have a special, detailed answer to your question on our FAQs page which is where you posted this comment. If you’ll look at the first question under Technical questions, you’ll see a detailed answer: https://composecreate.com/faqs-and-troubleshooting/ I hope that helps!
Hello!
I am a Primary School teacher from the UK and currently looking for a scheme that we can use next term to teach music in a fun way whilst adhering to the UK’s Covid music guidelines for schools. I am really interested in rhythm cups. However as primary school teachers, we all teach every subject to our own class. I know on the studio license it said you have to buy the digital tracks for every teacher, that’s 25-30 teachers at my school, which wouldn’t fit with my school music budget. I know it says there is no way to share the tracks either. Do you have any ideas or solutions? Yours is the best scheme I’ve seen so far but I wouldn’t be able to purchase the tracks for every teacher for one term as I have other costs to account for as well, but the tracks are what bring the music to life.
Thanks very much.
Best wishes,
Rosie
Hi Rosie,
Thank you for your interest in Rhythm Cup Explorations! You are right that this is a great program to use and works well to adapt to Covid guidelines. A lot of classroom teachers are using this in this way all over the world.
When you purchase the license to use this, only one license can belong to only one teacher. So there is no multi-teacher license and each teacher would need their own license both for the PDF curriculum as well as for the tracks. However, each teacher can use their one license to teach as many students as they directly teach. So if you are a music teacher and you teach 500 students in one week, that’s fine! There’s no limit to the number of students or classrooms you can teach with it. But the purchased license only allows one teacher to teach from the curriculum.
I hope that helps explain how the licensing works! Let us know if you have other questions!
Hi Wendy,
I just purchased ‘Music This Or That’ using my iPad. When attempting to open it in Adobe Reader I get the message that the document cannot be opened because it may be corrupted or damaged. Any suggestions? I’ve also tried opening in the Files App and Google Drive.
Thanks!

Hi Wendy,
I finally bought the Rhythm Bundle and I’m super excited to start using it with my students. I am finding the cost of printing the book quite expensive though and wonder if you have suggestions as to the most cost effective way of printing out a color copy of the book for use in my studio?
Thanks,
Rosalie Mae Baxter
Hi Rosalie,
That’s a good question! There are several things that can help:
1. We have sent everyone who’s had a new order since November of 2020 an Office Max/Depot discount card and this cuts printing costs down astronomically!
2. You should definitely have parents pay for the printing of the book. You cannot make a profit or resell the book in any way, but you can definitely charge them for the cost of printing! It is a book that lasts several years, and develops the MOST fundamental part of music making, so when you explain it that way, parents should have no problem paying for this resource@
3. You can also email the PDF to the student. As long as it’s a student to whom you are directly teaching the book, you can email it – that’s a change in our licensing that we made during Covid.
I hope that helps!
Hello Wendy,
I have been able to download everything I have purchased from you without it being shipped to me (and without me incurring shipping costs). As I put together another order of Halloween music I noticed that there is a shipping cost which implies that the music is coming via snail mail instead of being able to download it. Question ..is there a way to download it instead of having it shipped??
Thanks for your reply.
Hi Wendy,
I am only teaching Music for a Term, am I able to purchase a streaming subscription and then cancel it, without penalty, when I am finished teaching for the year?
Thanks
Megan
Hi!
I’ve had to change my email address. How do I change it in my account? Do I need to start a new account?
Old address: [hidden for privacy]
New address: [hidden for privacy]
I would love to keep my account info from the past, if that is possible.
Thanks!
Cynthia Whalen, NCTM
Absolutely, Megan! That’s the beauty of the subscription. You get the first month free, and then it’s just month to month after that. Cancel any time!
Let me have Amanda take care of this for you, Cynthia! For your privacy, I’m going to edit your comment to take out your email so others don’t see it. But she’ll have what she needs to change it and then will be in touch to tell you she did it.
Thanks for letting us know!
